  • @theskittles1101

even then look at the moves elvis did puerly sexual the we have songs like strokin 1 and 1 shit like that from the early 80s

  • i think this band was largely a one-hit wonder even though they've had multiple commercially good songs...their best song by far is "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)"...a few other songs like this one are good but can't seem to live up to that one

  • One of my all time favorite songs.

  • New album is on the way!

  • now that's what i call music 15 brought me here don't judge! thumbs up because! :D

  • I freaking love this song, can't get enough...last thousand views were probably by me ^_^

  • Music has ALWAYS been about sex and drugs (Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll), it's just that nowadays the sex part has become more explicit and in your face. Back in the 50s Elvis got in trouble for swaying his hips to the music - that's nothing compared to these days. The term "rock'n'roll IS slang for sex.

It all been going downhill faster ever since record companies and producers started assembling groups of pretty boys and girls to sing "prepackaged" "music".

  • Whats with all the crinkled Natty Ice cans ????

  • Just one of my favorite albums of all time! Love Fuel.

  • I love this song/video/band, always have..

  • My cuz is lead gutarist in fuel u jelly ?

  • love this band but so disapointed when i saw them live

THEY PHUQIN LIP SYNCED THE WHOLE SET!!!! WTF

  • @vettekid407 Because Brett lost his voice unfortunately :/ That's why they have a new singer now, Brett had to leave.

  • @MistahDisastah

    and that replacer was Torryn.

    but now Brett is back....

and the band is now Re-Fueled.

  • do you know why both of them left and why Brett is back?

  • @joaoluizsn

Brett left due some personal issues and disagreements to the band. Also he had lost his oringinal voice for awhile

Torryn Left Because Brett Was Back, I Think.

  • get a room you guys, dont think these guys didnt try to put this together!

  • When I first heard Fuel, I thought they were going to be HUGE. WTF happened?

  • @jhr459 They were really big back in the early 2000's. But once they got a new singer they kinda dropped off the earth, cuz people recognized Fuel through Brett, their old singer.

  • after seeing them sing this at a music festival in the rain, i was hooked on Fuel.

  • I think we should get all these REAL bands and have them perform one day for free to promote what REAL music should be about and not this bullshit people are listening to these days, it's sad to see that music has fallen so low these days

  • Old as song and i still love it xD

  • Why cant we have music like this anymore??? I am going to see them this weekend and cannot wait!

  • @jparish0810 Unfortunately it will be without Brett...

  • nice song!!

  • On 1.6 million views? Dafaq?

  • Brett Scalions looks pretty diferent in this movie

  • I miss this era :(

  • this song influenced how i see the world today, everybody feels the burden of lifesometimes. i once was selfish, i thought i could be better. i was right.

"i might save my world.. all you dream...your beautiful sky , falls on me"

  • nbt

  • these guys were so good and somehow landed under the radar - I guess they just didn't have that Beyonce' bullshit market value - talent doesn't mean anything anymore! It;s sad!!

  • lol @ "Tatari"

  • I'm Mitt Romney and I'm a total DOUCHE BAG thumbs up if you agree.RON PAUL 2012

  • 90s and early 00s music was the best.

  • LMAO it farts on me hahahahah awesome

  • @stevedeezyfosheezy ur fucking retarded

  • brett you should be wit the originals!!

  • fuel is probably my favorite band and one of my favorite songs

  • basically money took over everything in the late 90's to present

  • These are some bloody odd top comments... Yanks... hehe <3

  • @hellooo42971 really? why must you do that? Every single country has people that say stupid shit but the second American do something dumb or mislead WE get jumped on. but God forbid if WE jump on anyone else. then were just evil.

  • @A1ph4W01f Calm down, lad. It was a joke. You're supposed to laugh. When people make fun of my country (in my case Spain, but I've been in Britain, hence why I speak some English.) The top comments were just funny... gosh.

    *Shakes head*

  • @A1ph4W01f Errr When people make a joke about my country I'l laugh*

  • shadow wolves I agree with you, but what exactly was your point with the buddy holly thing? The name of the song was actually american pie by don maclean. I am orginally from Clear lake Iowa which is ten miles from where the plane went down with buddy holly, and the big bopper. Clear lake has an annual celebration of hoolys life. Music doesnt die nor is it forgotten. There will always be someone out there that keeps the legends alive.

  • Wait,d top 2 comments are fighting..heres my chance!?

  • If you like this then watch and enjoy, if not then why r u here? Go elsewhere...

  • HAHAHAA look at the video responses

  • never listend to Fuel before, thats a nice tune.

  • buddy holly - the day the music died

my opinion is that each decade has something to offer. "profit" has and always will be a factor lol

now what should be said here is that fuel are an absolutely fantastic band - i know you all agree :D

  • Who the fuck is Oh Land? Why is she bugging me while I'm listening to fuel and stuff. GTFO!

  • forgot about that song which brings back so many memerios

  • Song reminds me of a getting laid for the first time.

  • @tommylehman <====virgin... haha lol

  • whos Justin biebr?

  • @caigancaigan some fag that sings hiphop.

  • Cool..

  • this is one of those songs that gives you chills. love them.

  • Holy shit! ITS BEEN SO LONG! I stopped looking for this song about a year ago and I HAVE FINALLY FOUND IT!!! YES! lol my mom used to play this music when she would garden. My god those were the days... Now we live in an apartment and life is shitty because I'm old enough too know what the hell is going on. I accept it and live on because I have these great memories! :D

  • im still inside my mom!!!! and i love this song!!

  • I love fuel so much, but this chorus sounds like collective soul

  • fuck you vevo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of my all time favorite songs! Man I loved this group!!

  • im a fetus and i love this song

  • VAI TOMA NU MEIO DO CU ESSE YOUTUBE LIXO COM COMERCIAL INFIA ISSO NO CU DA MÃE FILHOS DA PUTA

  • HEY Im 96 years old and all my friends that arent dead prefer lawrence welk and benny goodman but I like listening to FUEL! Dang nammit I'm the only feller in my old folks home that appreciates 90's rock!

  • @guins99 Your nurse must have typed that out for you.

  • I'm 26 and still play the cd's

  • GAredneckboy likes this

  • Love this song... to me it's a spiritual journey, I'm older but feel like when I was 8 I could see myself then.... always look for truth...

  • I just noticed the Atari in the backround. I'm pretty sure it was a boxing game for the 2600.

This song was on their Natural Selection album witch was in my opinion their best album.

It's really good to see that young guys listen to Artists like Fuel instead of all that pop garbage that's popular today

  • i'm ancient...i just love this song and relate

  • I'm 17, but does that really matter? Music will exist throughout time. I still listen to Beethoven.. It only depends on how it sounds. You think all the shit music will have a chance in the future? No one will care what the singers looked like; and in the event they do, they'll look goofy. The extremely long hair thing was cool back in the 80's, but it just looks goofy now. And why do we still listen to 80's music today? Not because the singer's "Look Good" It's because the music sounds good.

  • @PudencePuhlmann I didn't realize that long hair caught on in the 80s, as opposed to the 70s. ;) Also, goofy? Christ, you are misinformed.

  • @Burnyoursins I always got the impression that afros, hair picks, and such where more popular in the 70's. Again, I said I'm 17, I wasn't there, lol. And it's really a matter of opinion if the extremely long hair is good looking or not. But this is all digression and doesn't apply to the point I was trying to get across. I mean to say, Music is timeless, and only good music will last. Even if something terrible is popular now, it probably won't be in the future.

  • Music is timeless, who cares how old you are?

  • miss the 90's and early 2000's music

  • the first time i heard this song i was a jr I think in highschool ... my alarm clock radio went off and this was on... i stayed in bed till it went off cuz it was such a goood song... been hooked since

  • ONE HIT WONDERS LOL LOL

  • @purpman0019 Are you referring to Fuel as a one hit wonder? If so, you may want to get your facts straight.

  • @BelovedOath bitch stfu

  • @purpman0019 Are you twelve? That was an impressive retort.

  • @BelovedOath Old enough not to use stupid words Like "retort" trying to sound intelligent?? say whats on your fucking mind u fucking faggot. telling something too "STFU , BITCH" is actually a strong comment from where I come from... dont know about your soft ass....

  • @purpman0019 STFU RETORTBITCHFAG

  • @purpman0019 I feel sorry that there's only morons where you come from if "stfu bitch" is a"strong" comment. I also pity you for having slow parents that couldn't turn you into a decent person. Quit acting like such a little brat and grow up kid.

  • @TheSkittles1001 and what makes you so "special" you fucking homo? Internet tough guy I could give a fuck LESS about what you think or what you "pity" I'm going to "eat" (get money for our proper boys out there) regardless just remember that.

  • why? someone tell me why there is always some nerd on EVERY video on this damn website that mentions that tool of a human..you know what..i'm not even gonna say his name but he's single handedly killing music. If you dont know who i'm talkin about read one the top comments.

  • Thumbs up is you played Atari when it first came out....

  • This is freakin awesome they need to bring back the soul of music because I feel it everytime I listen to the beautiful sound this creates through my speakers. Righteous

  • This is whats could real music, instead of all the techno shit these days.

  • Love fuel but it seems like their popularity is falling. Make sure to like some of these videos maybe catch some more attention. Hate for the younguns to have to miss such a great band.

  • I'm only a 3 week old fetus and this is my favorite song, I don't care what all the Other Sperm say about me!!

  • @PinkRangerVida Sure there are, a pregnant woman gets horny too ya know...

  • FUEL was my favorite band while in highschool

  • im 23 and i rather listen to all my old cd than whats out now. I grew up listening to this and so are my children. I miss all the 80's and 90's music.

  • i'll be 35 soon and 90's music is untouchable. there is some cool stuff now but there is no comparison to the 1990-2002 rock/alternative music. obviously i must be right reading the ages on here :) glad to see younger generations have good taste :)

  • I am almost 21 and was 13 when i got this CD have never stopped listening to it since there is something in his voice that you don't hear anywhere else it just makes you feel Fuel it gets into you body mind and soul it can't be beat.

I will be in my 40s and still be Fuel !!

  • <3

  • i love this band.... :)

  • 2011 and... wait, no one gives a shit. LISTEN TO THE MUSIC.

  • @RidetheMessiah

umm i dont think having words that are the same counts as a rip off... and honestly i like Collective soul but I like this better than heavy. Ur user name already suggests that u would be bias... do you think Fuel is the devil by any chance?

  • anyone see that the chorus is a cheap, half-assed rip off of collective soul's "heavy"? and this song's title is pretty much the chorus from heavy.

  • @RidetheMessiah UM, not really, and collective soul is a really cheap "rock" band to begin with. I'd say soft rock at best.. Cheap wine vocals turned sour..

  • @bigbrokin You are just a hipster. shoo shoo go crawl back in your hole.

  • @CoolConejo Yep, you are so right... FUEL is so hip... What was I thinking?? Thank youtube for experts like you...

  • im only 19 and all i have to say is all you younger kids need to love this music cuz it isnt around long, i was 10 when this came out and dont know where this kind of music went...so appreciate it

  • @bkrueger17 Same here, I'm 19 and fuel is one of my favorite bands. Music like this no longer around because people lost their ear for good music and only focus on which bands will bring in cash

  • @bkrueger17 I'm only 14 and I TOTALLY agree :) ...

  • @bkrueger17 hell yeah man, i was 13 at the time lol, i go with the years until 2010 since thats when i turned 20 lol. so i went with the 90's more than ever, kids born after 1990 yeah they went with the 90's but honestly man, nothing gets better than saying you were born in the year when music was great, when music began to mean something.

  • @blaketriksdurst Dude, If you think that music "began to get good" in the 90's, then are truly as ignorant as your comment. Try listening to 60's, 70's, and 80's music, THEN try to say that the 90's is when it started. The 90's were the DECLINE of good music...

  • @MrJohnnyboy2284 I disagree. Music began to decline in the 80's and then a new upswing in the 90's.

  • @heathenbreathinfire I'd have to disagree with you, music was great and influential in the 60's and only went down from there. Not to say that the 70's-90's were bad, they just lost some meaning and became more about the profit. There was the occasional good band or artist here and there but music's talent pretty much died out around 2000. There's few good bands out today.

  • @TheSkittles1001 Music was about the same thing then as it is now: sex, drugs, love, and money. Everybody likes what they like, and every generation has someone claiming that previous generations were better. What one person thinks is good someone else might think is shit. You're entitled to your likes, and so is everyone else. If it was so much better before why did it change?

  • @gisime1 Music changed because the money was in the younger generation. Pop, Rap, and Techno took over and everything else fell to the side. To keep up with the "times", Rock slowly became more about sex, drugs, and money. It's not a difference in taste as much as in talent and willingness to make music just for the love of it. Music was better in the 60's-90's, people just don't care anymore, it's all about a pay check.

  • @TheSkittles1001 I agree with you, music has deteriorated in the past decade. However, Rock in the 60's-90's was also about sex, drugs, and money. Rock hasn't tried to keep up with the times. Rock has been and always will be the "times".

  • @TheSkittles1001 you'r right, and also thoose people who should be lisening to the music are instead playing COD all day n night. They care more about the scores.
