@MUTEGIO36 You want inhuman low note? Listen to russian basses spout out the A below that...they're insane. And then if you want a tenor freakier than Tim waurick, listen to the soloist of the 3rd/4th song of Carmina Burana. High High F in full voice and it sounds perfectly clear and unstrained.
@Icyveins906 i actually just revisited this video and was listening really carefully when i found out these guys were really flat. they say they did it in C but if you grab a piano and play the bass notes with them singing they're technically singing in B. that low note was a somewhat solid B.....thats insane
@MUTEGIO36 here on youtube, look up carmina burana, 3rd-4th movie down is the whole thing by the UC singers and orchestra. Start at 34:30...and wait for the inhuman heights...two places in the song...and it's long.
@codemanh1 They are now...ringmasters came a long way in two 1/2 years. And all I said was that the bass was too dark for barbershop. Classically he's fine. Some 1/2 wit groupie you are. Come back when you've actually had the 12-year vocal investment I've had. No, I'm not 12 years old...
Wow. ok my friends who went against the ringmasters over the summer placed 14th and i think there amazing. but jesus this guy who is singing that low c loud and clear as day is unbelievable. I want to go to this stockholme school now lol. Well done
Its out of tune, we didnt stay in pitch. And Singing is over all very poor. But again, we did not lower it or in any way alter it after the recording.
you're an idiot. They didn't change anything, this guys just an amazing bass. They did win Internationals this summer if you didn't know that.. I'd know, my quartet did lose to them...badly..lol
yes jcirmsa....I am aware of this. They won the Collegiate INTERNATIONAL Competition.. OC Times won the Professional INTERNATIONAL Competition.. I was there and my quartet competed against Ringmasters. :)
According to my peterson strobe tuner, the method through which frequencies are measured (hertz), and my perfect pitch, it is a C2 (65.4064 Hz). When it comes to frequencies, I never guess.
Your tuner is wrong or not on A 440. I'm pounding on an electric piano B and it sounds MORE correct than C. My tuner did not read 65 Hertz (an exact perfectly in tune C2). It read C at 40-60 cents flat, meaning borderline B. Also, tuners are for one person not 4, and is even worse for voice due to the nature of its wavering. As far as perfect pitch, its irrelevant. You can hear pitches, but not tuned to exact frequencies. I know plenty of people with perfect pitch and they all agree with this.
the awsome thing is how powerful those low notes are... a lot of people can sing those notes, but few can deliver the force that this young man does. Great job, you've been blessed.
Congratulations on winning the Collegiate competition this year in Nashville guys! :) You sounded amazing! Especially that high tag you added to the end of that one song (I forget which one..) during the semi-final round. Which song was that again? :)
It's cute how the bass always looks to his mates with this delighted look on his face after his really low notes, like he can't believe the gift that's been bestowed upon him...
Hmm, lugnt om jag sparkar ut Rasmus ett par låtar eller? Visar sig att ni ska tävla med två låtar jag kan (Lazybones och Yes Sir), testar gärna sjunga dem med er efteråt!
That is just insane. Good to know we aren't the only group trying to sing it as low as possible.

The bass was too dark for barbershop. Otherwise it was good. Bring it up by a step and/or retrain your bass and you'll be perfect.

@Icyveins906 I hope you know that these guys are a top 5 quartet in the world. I would like to see you hit those bass notes in any color.
