German propaganda is spreading that Germany gives so very much money to international organizations or foreign countries. Oviously this money is spend to infiltrate other countries to gain influence. So watch out for german snitchers.
The German BND tortured my brother Markus Bott during five and a half years. He was assassinated on 11.7.09 because of our homepage.
@Wazlor It's a rich guys toy train set. Most of us are rich and can afford to have these "toy" trains outside on a year-round basis. Damn, some of these comments are just too much!
@gehnix Wouldn't know. Don't collect them nor do I have a set up. Just some old American Flyer stuff and some HO and N gauge stuff. To me they are just toys.
In this case the track is brass. There are generally two types of material used for outdoor track; brass or stainless steel. Of the two, brass is slightly less expensive. Stainless steel is gaining in popularity since it requires minimal cleaning to maintain its electrical conductivity.
Those beautiful green statues you see in the park... They're actually rusty brass/bronze statues.
Actually what you can do is just lay a piece of iron/steel/zinc in electical contact with the track and it will make the track reletively rust proof. It's the theory behind galvanised steel, put a less rust proof material in contact with a more rust proof one, and the less rust proof one will be sacrificed in place of the other metal.
Or you can do what the QE2 does, place a negative (I think) over the track and have a sacraficial metal positive charge, and the oxygen will refuse to react with the negatively charged track and go for the positively charged.
That's 45mm Gauge 1 track. The owner runs mostly 1:22.5 and 1:29 scale equipment. When I run on his layout the equipement is 1:20 scale. There is no "G" scale. That's a term, applied incorrectly, to any scale equipment being run on Gauge 1 track.
I have no idea. The train was running at 20 SMPH with the speedometer car set for 1:20.3 scale. You can see the length of the video and we did not cover about 40 feet of the layout.

Perhaps you mean G Gauge. LGB is a manufacturer of G Gauge model railroad equipment. Gauge 1 is very close in gauge to G gauge.
Dusty754 1 year ago
@Dusty754 But in Gauge 1 u can buy better models like the one from Marklin in Germany. The quality of that models are so awsome...

how big is this train are?

Why dont you just walk the track?
fxdrdnme 2 years ago
Three reasons.
1.We support Street Walkers, not Track Walkers.
2 Layout owners like to see their railroad from track level for better detail.
3.Watching the video and any camera shake identifies rough/misaligned track and switches. Owner's can then make necessary repairs.
4everford 2 years ago
Gotcha. I was just wondering the reason why people spend $250 to do this but you gave me 3 good ones, thanks!
fxdrdnme 2 years ago
How does it cost?
NiklasNosus 2 years ago
We charge $250.00 to do a track inspection. And that's a bargain! :>)

4everford 3 years ago
Although I imagine the lack of conductivity of the SS is a downside, unless you're running feeders to it every so often.

BRASS DON'T RUST, BRO!

Actually it does... Just a lot slower than steel.
