@MrGuitardudeism One of the rawest and least fav's of mine. I was thinking of removing it. It's a bit naked for my taste, BUT I do appreciate the kind comment. Makes me glad that I chose to keep it here. This is a rant on guitar really, just improvised on the spot. I do prefer a more controlled environment, but this is good practice. Thank you again, ApB
@aaronbergAPB Sometimes I find that things I think are raw as well are the ones many people like! Kind of funny. It was good improv as well, something to take pride in, for sure!!!
Thanx a bunch T, and much respect to your playing, as well. Yeah, the hat comes in handy. This is a DiMeola backing track and I just improvised to it. Not a lot of thought in note selection here, but it has a vibe to it. Santana from hell! Hehe
This was planned or worked out for about 33 seconds, and the rest was just random chaos. Hehe, I find it most painful to watch, at times, but some of the stuff works OK. The strings on this one were very old, and crusty, and the action on this guitar is still a BEAR. Other player friends CANNOT do what they normally can do on this one. It's going to be set up soon though. Yikes, and thanx bro'. apb
love the sound of that guitar man! i am working on some new materail so be sure too see some of my new "work" up soon, you sound great love the sound of that how the notes flow
Very cool mood to this one, love it Aaron, and from your comment on my strat sig, you'd have a blast playing it, they play like butter, the Schecter looks like its an easy player as well, nice shredin brotha!
Thanx 4 everything Rik, and this Schecter is not set up. The action is like driving a semi-truck through the desert, but if I make it look like it plays well? Cool, I did my job. I will be looking in to your axes for sure. apb
Thanx much. This was an Al DiMeola backing track, and I spent about a half hour messin' with it, and got anxious to post. Most of this is just seat of the pants nonsense, but I do thank you for being so kind. apb
Yes, I remember now, a very solid half stack set up. Even when I've done pretty big shows, I've used half stack set ups. You're only mic'ing one peice, so the twenty stack stage set ups most have are for looks, and not sound. When I play it's just me and a little ole half'er. I've always liked Laney, but Marshall JCM's where usually the ones I had access to. Some where mod'ed, and those always sounded the best live. Nice rig you got, indeed. apb
Thanx a million bro', and yes, in my many years playing I've tamed the tone thing, and the adjustments continue. I worked at Guitar Center, and Sam Ash for years before in LA. One thing I walked away with from that was being able to dial just about any amp in to sound good. It's easier to sell guitars, or amps when they seem to sound great immediately. I've quicky tuned them in for John Sykes, Steve Farris, Eric Gales, Carl Verheyen, and a bunch of other pro's. apb
I love how you aren't afraid to go outside of scales! This is so innovative, you should open for Steve Vai or something. I'm subbed.

I like the breaks/ stalls you have within. Very clean playing with a nice delay effect..very tasteful! You still make me sick bro..Fantastic!
The hat is useful too in case it rains inside your place or you go fishing afterward :-)
