What's funny about this is that it's not very far from the truth. Most of Hank's "spoken word" is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt at comedy (and a really poor one at that). He's too stupid and insecure to write and deliver his own jokes so he hides behind all that pretentious spoken word BS. He's more square and out of touch than my dead grandfather, just another dumb jock who realized too late that being a functionally illiterate drop out is neither cool nor attractive
@ritter89 you really should read get in the vanfanatic or any of his other books mabey even listen to some rollins band or watch 1 of his spoken word performances he lifts wieghts yes but in no way is he a jock he had already been around the country and over seas by the time he was 30 hes done u.s.o. shows been 2 places like iran afganistan and pakastan u know places most americans are 2 chicken shit to go he is so well recieved hes been n movies and on tv get yer bull straight next time
