  • thanks i know i need to work on lighting my lighsin my room are dark as hell.

  • i want to see that thing offroad what rear suspension and motor are you using

  • those lawnmower spindles will snap i had some of them on my gokart from a toro ride on

Snaped off soon as i went over a bump over 30km/h

  • Most all the parts are off of an old craftsman ridim mower. I fabricated a new axle out of tubing and used the old spindles of the mower since the wheels are going to be used too.

  • is the spindle off a riding lawnmower

  • @smithcycles It's designed just like a auto's steering so it should be OK. Plus, the Kart is going to only go about 10 miles per hour or so, same speed as the riding lawnmower went. And, its got a roll cage....

  • @davi200 Looks really well built just one thing, won't it slip at the end of the shaft where the plate is between those two nuts and lock washer? Lot of pressure on that to turn and push the tie rods.

  • @ModelKarKid Hmmm. That is a good point. If it does start to slip, I could weld it in place. I chose not to do that because as it is now fabricated the entire steering shaft is removeable. Don't know why I would need to ever remove it, but you never know....

Thanks for the comment. I think its the first constructive comment I have ever received.
