Needs tremolo pedals. Kevin Shields used 2 of them in his setup. My Bloody Valentine even named one of their EP's after Tremolo.

This is a tough one to play like My Bloody Valentine since MBV is so loud in concert! At least you can hear the song on the C86 All Star Version, but it does need a little work. Cute lead singer.

Of all the shit MBV wanabees (Asobi Seksu is another thing) this is the best sounding so far, I am impressed. Shit vocals though.

the vocals are supposed to hide in the mix.

it was more about the guitar than anything

else really. these guys do a pretty good

rendition other than using chorus and phaser

effects on their instruments rather than the

natural sound that was originally used.

Maybe I didn't explain very well... I actually like it a LOT. I like the way they sound, not drowning everything in tons of reverb. Quite agressive, as it should be. The volcals are still on the crap side. Actually hidden in the mix is far better. Sorry.

No matter what arbitrary standards he may have about which effects are okay to use. Besides why should a cover sound exactly like the original recording?
