Oh far be it from me if I should be left with the choice of!:
1. killing a man so that others may not be so bold as to mutilate another human being without fear of judgement;
2. or rather have that man's death on my conscience.
Fools are we if we think we do not fallow the same path as that of Sadducees/Pharisees. Let the "Law of God" be written on your hearts. in fellowship we will find the answer, NOT in bible verses's exchanges (though reading it, is warranted).
@AwsomWarrior Did I ever say I don'y believe in an afterlife? No. I do in fact. My pacifist beliefs are strongly based on my religious beliefs. I believe in Jesus Christ and follow his teaching. He taught to love your enemies, and not to resist evil through physical force. He taught to turn the other cheek, and to give to those who ask of you. He taught not to judge and to do unto others, how you would do unto yourself.
@AwsomWarrior I agree that the soul never dies, as Jesus said, "fear not those who can destroy the body, and not the soul." but i completely disagree that war brings the soul closer to God. I believe that killing ultimately destroys the soul. To go to war and kill many people personally unknown to you, I think, is one of the most terrible evils.
@AwsomWarrior I dont believe in incarnation. but i do believe that the soul is more important than the physical body and i respect all human souls, therefore i dont believe in doing harm to any human being.
@argetfalcon pacifism is not evil, or selfish. war can never be justified. as jesus said, you should not fear those who can destroy the body but not the soul.

@AwsomWarrior Thats got to be the most disgusting thing ive ever heard. Waging war absolutely does not in any way bring the human soul closer to God.

This has nothing to do with Just War Theory at all. This doesn't even touch on a single jus ad bellum condition at all
