The pipeline is goint to the Oil Export Hub of the USA. One oil spill in the Ogallala aquifer 25 Million people & 50,000 Farmers will not have water. Did we learn nothing from BP?

If by 'American governments' you mean USA + Canada, I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if 100+ nations would band together in a climate protection alliance and wage war against those two countries in the near future.

There are actions beyond treason.
There are actions beyond one's own genetic suicide.
There are actions beyond the total genocide of humanity.
Such actions are far FAR outside of the realm of sanity, or any interpretation of cognitive competence, let alone Representative competence.
Harvesting the tar sands, is such an action.
Any attempts to do so, are VERY just cause for the rest of the planet to wipe out our American governments. We are far too despotic.
