This made me realize that Hellhammer is a big pussy when it comes to drumming. He doesn't hit any of his drums or cymbals with any force, even when the beat is slow. He's a good drummer... but not as fantastic as I thought.

C) why would how hard you hit something have any co-relation to your skill as a drummer.

@Mathaius833 What the hell are you trying to say with A) and B)? And as for your point C), it is a lot easier to play fast if you don't hit very hard. It's something that A LOT of metal drummers do nowadays because they worry about being fast before they actually develop any decent techniques. A great example of this in practice is Enthroned's album "Armoured Bestial Hell." The drummer's snare is audible when he's playing a regular beat, but once he starts blasting his snare is lost in the mix.
