bowie taking a beat seat for another artist and playing the sax for them, wow now that's respect, does not get any better than this and ronson on guitar now my day is made
Yap, Joe Elliott is an expressed Mott the Hoople-fan. I can´t see with who he´s sharing the microphone though. I have in mind he also played drums on the Overnight Angels album.
@blondiebabeo I WAS LUCKY ENOUGHT TO SEE IAN HUNTER WITH MICK RONSON PLAY AT A ROCK CLUB CALLED" HAMMERHEADS" WEST ISLIP LONG ISLAND N.Y JULY 7,1980 cost $6.00.
Thank you for posting this ultimate performance!

Can Bowie play Sax? How does the absent Buffin, much less Ariel Bender feel about it?!!?!
yuppiemobile69 3 years ago
I think he can play sax but he could be better too!
It would have been a perferct performance if there had been all Mott members presence.
Unfortunately Mick Ronson died in the age of 48, if I remember correctly.
But I think this is superb, absolutely suberb!

The real guitarist of Mott is Mick Ralphs :)
