If he went through all that trouble, he should've stepped up to a 351W, provided it cleared the hood. Ford Small-blocks, best in the world.

Hell the original motor probably makes the same hp except torque. Any way he did a good job on the swap.

The 302 ford may have not been the best choice to retain the weight dist, but anybody who REALLY has driven a non-m e36 knows it needs more power.....assumptive armchair racers excluded

id take a bmw engine over that anyday, if you want more power by a stage 1 SS kit from Active for like $4.4k, its stage 1 is 360HP on the stock 328 M52 engine

ive got engine work done to my e36 328is's m52 and it pulls like 5.4 0 -60s, and its more fuel efficient and bmw made.. who would down grade to ford?
