what utter waste of time,money and manpower,it would be far easier and cheaper to get a person or two to pick and place sausages,I can see it being useful in hazardous areas with hazardous items,but SAUSAGES! for gods sake,lunacy.

@silver760 If it were a waste of money and resources, they wouldn't have been able to justify the purchase price, and thus the robot wouldn't be there.

Robots don't need breaks, they don't need medical insurance, and they don't care if they work 24/7. Combine that with their speed and accuracy, and they can easily pay for themselves in a few months, or maybe a year, depending of course on what they're doing.
