What happens if it gets stuck on the pinwheel of death/iphone logo? My bro jailbroke his old ipod touch a while ago, and gave it to me just recently. I clicked on SETTINGS>RESET>RESTORE TO FACTORY MODE (or whatever it says) and it got frozen a few hours ago. I had no idea that it would get stuck, and i thought the restore would get rid of the jailbreak (the only reason i restored instead of a manual delete)

...is there a way to fix this, or am I screwed?

if yes, try again and make sure that you enter the iPod into DFU mode and try to restore again, make sure your iTunes updated to the latest version.

@yakuzahi i entered reset all settings and it was fine, then i clicked delete all settings and data, actually. thats when it went to the apple logo and it had a loading bar underneath... after that filled, it disappeared and was replaced by the pinwheel of death. its been like that for almost 18 hours now... @iiLunny Well you have to find an custom IOS for your iPhone, if you have a Mac, you can do it yourself, but it depends on many things. Do you have all the SHSH saved on your iPhone?

@bloggerdaddy  There is nothing to do with that. The baseband its like a tattoo, even if you downgarde you firmware the baseband will stay the same.
