I feel very comfortable with Windows. Even at work (XP); with very he a very high loaded application and also at home (VISTA), for all fun stuffs. VISTA is fun, when u don't care for performance and have a very best configurations.
Oh jeez, it actually isn't that bad! Once you get Vista going after installs and such, you don't get them very often. Anyway, you can be assured SP1 will contain a number of improvements
You see the two same people dressed the same applying for a job at your large firm, who do you higher?
You see the two same people dressed the same applying for a job at your creative small business, who do you higher?
Mac or Windows, both have upsides and downsides.

This advertisement represents propaganda. You can set up the Vista UAC to behave silently, like I believe Mac's does.
So this is nothing new. Shut up Mac. Shut up. And lower the cost.

Buy a Mac if you want to:
Play Music
Organise Photos
Create Websites
Write and Send Proffessional Documents
Buy a PC if you want to do all of the above and more - on an interface that wasn't designed for toddlers.

Or strip either a Mac or PC and feed it Linux (FREE!), and do all the above and more PLUS MOAR on an interface that you can create yourself.
Think about it. Vista.. High-dollar stuff. Mac... High dollar stuff. Both need consistent upgrades.
Linux is completely free with consistent upgrades that you don't have to fiddle with to get working, and just work immediately FOR you.
Mac VS PC... Get a Linux. You'd be MUCH happier.

hehe great... often not only just "cancel or allow" its multiple "ok"s,"continue"s, typing in computer/user and password...
kevintx99 4 years ago
Yeah I hate that crap. I just turn it off and install ZoneAlarm or something. Fixes all of those.
kaytwentytwo 4 years ago
how do you turn it off?
keimonte1 3 years ago
Ta ha, so true! Every computer person I know turns this annoying thing off.
We have fixed many infected computers that had UAC enabled so it is not the "cure" as they would like you to think. Our CPULOCK is better.
