  • wow those bells are light. i think they are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they look quite hard to ring with them being small. what do the bells look like?

  • small world eh? Say hi to her next time u see her

  • That is so cool, mini sallies and everything! I can imagine these bells take a bit of practice to ring properly, being so light.

  • there arent tower bells they are in a campanile shich is a mini ring of bells.

  • What is the tenor weight there, I have rung in Newcastle (NI), the tenor there is only 2cwt, but they sound deeper than these, are they actually even lighter? I ound that such light bells were actually quite hard work to ring, in Newcastle they removed all the stays as they kept getting bounced and standing was a problem, so they just ring up and down each time now!

  • Im a ringer from Northern Ireland, where are you from? Newcastle are 3cwt, Grey Abbey is a 2cwt ring

Our mini bells are like that, tenor 10lbs and easier to ring double handed.

  • Hi, tho I now live in Dorset, originally a Carrick ringer, tenor 13-2-11. I sometimes ring at the local village church, ring of 6. Don McClean and I used to ring together there, names Michael Howes

  • O Michael, I was speaking to you just a few weeks ago

  • Really? when was that, or was that in another bell ringing link on youtube?

  • It was on another bellringing link on you tube, I know Don and Robert and Alan etc well Do you remeber Jean Jeffery nee Stuart?

  • I know Jean well, tho haven't seen her for quite a while

  • Well, thats my Grandmother! got it all through her
