The next question is whether actual killings in such slaughter houses strictly follow halal procedures on a daily basis. Given the lengthy time needed to tend to each animal just before slaughter, and the fact that industries need animals to be slaughtered then processed in large numbers, malpractices are inevitable. Indonesia is one prime example. Not to say western slaughter houses are guilt free when it comes to not following their own procedures, but the point still stands.

You people are in cloud cuckoo land with all this religious rubbish. What you dont seem to understand is that the prime directive is self preservation. That means that the animal has the will to live. It isnt just going to give up and let you kill it. They are not just going to lie down because you wish cut it's throat. Another thing, for the slaughterer safety...just in case if the animal becomes violent suddenly...I think the knife pouch that you have is not that good..coz it takes a while to get it out..perhaps you should have another knife's case or container where you can easily take out the knife.

I think this method is better then the other ways we usually see, but the whole 'the animal will show you when it's ready' is a bit hard to believe. No animal wants to die, though I respect your belief in the animals belief of self sacrifice. All I have to say is please be more careful. That third death (6:00-6:56) was clearly unwanted by how it writhed around, and how he had to use more then 2 strokes of the knife. All in all though I feel it's a great practice.

@erniehudson1 Seriously... You know that will never happen. The whole purpose is to show the calmness of the animal after the tekbir and besmele are read to it. It's not just a matter of faith you can clearly see the animals are waiting patiently, maybe not too much in this video but in the other two videos it is clearly visible. I would be happy to know my food has been killed in this way. However halal killings are not always so humane as i have experienced in factory use.... Unfortunately, most of the animals we eat are likely not treated this way, mainly due to our excessive demand for meat. We must realize that to treat animals better, we have to lessen our greed for meat, or the end result is mass production and mass mistreatment.

I noticed in the last slaughter in this video there seemed to be blood in the gutter below the slaughter pen. Maybe the strong scent of blood made the big guy more nervous. @knochentrocken96 when the slaughterer slit the animals throat and veins it should only take few seconds before it passes out due to the stop of blood flow to the brain if the knife is sharp with one or maximum two strikes the animals should not feel but a little burning due to the cut.no you can not kill the animal with electricity it is not halal then most of the blood stays in the meat tissue also and the blood comes out very dark red with very slow flow and the animal feels great pain

The next question is whether actual killings in such slaughter houses strictly follow halal procedures on a daily basis. Given the lengthy time needed to tend to each animal just before slaughter, and the fact that industries need animals to be slaughtered then processed in large numbers, malpractices are inevitable. Indonesia is one prime example. Not to say western slaughter houses are guilt free when it comes to not following their own procedures, but the point still stands.

Although, saying that, i am currently a vegetarian, but if i could be sure all animals were slaughtered this way id be much more likely to eat it. @mercy halal: I think it's better if you use bottle to give drink to the animal...like the one they use for babies...for rabbit.. that way the water won't go thru the nose..
Another thing, for the slaughterer safety...just in case if the animal becomes violent suddenly...I think the knife pouch that you have is not that good..coz it takes a while to get it out..perhaps you should have another knife's case or container where you can easily take out the knife.

I think this method is better then the other ways we usually see, but the whole 'the animal will show you when it's ready' is a bit hard to believe. No animal wants to die, though I respect your belief in the animals belief of self sacrifice. All I have to say is please be more careful. That third death (6:00-6:56) was clearly unwanted by how it writhed around, and how he had to use more then 2 strokes of the knife. All in all though I feel it's a great practice.

It's not just a matter of faith you can clearly see the animals are waiting patiently, maybe not too much in this video but in the other two videos it is clearly visible. Jazakallah Thank You for these perfect 3 part videos showing the merciful way of slaughter in Islam, Though I have always known that Islamic slaughter is the most humane way where when the main blood vein is cut off the animal goes unconscious and the few nerves remaining behind carry orders off the brains to bring more blood to the brian and it pours out of the jugular vein (bad blood) making meat pure for us. I now have a real video to show off to others. May Allah reward you.

the animal was not 'submitting in the name of God' at all. are you actually blind? imagine this: you are walking, and someone comes behind you and puts you in a sleeper hold / pinches your pressure point. you struggle to break free and carry on with your life, but the pinch is too strong, and you fall motionless. you are then murdered and eaten. tell me, did you approvingly sacrifice yourself? no, you were overpowered against your will. thats whats happening here, and if you can't see that: wow.

It feels great to see so much respect from the man for the animal. I feel that this slaughter is humane not because of the method but because of the way he shows his concern for the animals.

Yup, it is nice to see an actual connection between the owners and the animals. It is also nice to see animals that actually see the sunlight, Alhamdulillah.
Unfortunately, most of the animals we eat are likely not treated this way, mainly due to our excessive demand for meat. We must realize that to treat animals better, we have to lessen our greed for meat, or the end result is mass production and mass mistreatment.

Salaams br. Sam. I'd been hearing from others about your videos and I'm glad I finally took the time to watch them! This is an awesome means of education and dawah for both Muslim and non-Muslim alike, jazakAllahu khairaa. I noticed in the last slaughter in this video there seemed to be blood in the gutter below the slaughter pen. Maybe the strong scent of blood made the big guy more nervous. Perhaps if this was emptied/washed after each kill it would be easier on you and the animals? Masalaama!

Note: I do not say science is wrong and inaccurate, but I rather say that it's a puzzle that will never be accomplished, and that even the human brain has a limit that it can reach just any CPU or memory based technology, and won't be able to reach the Divine knowledge which is far beyond the human one. @knochentrocken96 when the slaughterer slit the animals throat and veins it should only take few seconds before it passes out due to the stop of blood flow to the brain if the knife is sharp with one or maximum two strikes the animals should not feel but a little burning due to the cut.no you can not kill the animal with electricity it is not halal then most of the blood stays in the meat tissue also and the blood comes out very dark red with very slow flow and the animal feels great pain

So if the animal's neck was not supple or it did not want to drink the water it does not alter the value of this nice work. Some people are idealistic and never been in practical life. There has been prophets sent to mankind to guide them and they all came with the same message. Some rules may have been different. The rules and responsibilities given to our prophet (saws) supercede all. One believes in muhammad(saws) or does not. One obeys and follows sunnah or does not.
