@DrDenisSaralho This wouldn't be easy at all. Imagine the g-load the body is put through over 1 lap an then try doing that for 500 miles. Easy my ass!
I agree ac3jc - it definately looks easy, but I bet he knows as good as I do - it isn't easy at all, especially at those speeds and g-forces,that work on body. But those guys are professionals and they're good at it,that's why they're racing there! ;)
@ac3jc Until you actually TRY it, on something like iRacing's simulation, with the laser scanned version of Indy. Getting into turn 1 at 230+, having the car just loose enough to turn in, without going over the edge. Even then, you have to hit your marks EXACTLY, or you brush the wall on exit, or clip the while line, and it snaps around. The difficulty of making the corner right ONCE, let alone for 500 miles, in traffic, where handling changes in an instant, requiring on-the-fly adjustments...
Easy my ass! Have anyone you tried driving 2+hours over 150mph average?

Going around a track like this is not difficult. Trying to be the fastest while doing it is very difficult.
