  • It's definitely weed season here in California. They shot up in the last week like.... well, weeds. Here's a question I was looking for as far as applying Roundup, do you have to make sure you wet the entire surface of the leaves?

  • Not really the entire leaf surface, but the round-up prevents photosynthesis, so its good to get as much of the leaf surface as possible.. I like to cut the weeds down about half way if they are tall and mature. But If they are baby weeds you wont have to cut them down... just add dish soap (acts as a surfactant) to your round up and spray! Use a big piece of cardboard to protect plants that dont need the roundup...

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting! Can you come over to my house and help?!

I haven't tried Preen, I appreciate the info.

  • Another very well done job CM! Can you buy weed controllers by the tanker load? I have weeds... Oh my goodness I have weeds!!! However, I am going to take your advice as our flower beds have gone to pot!
