  • any one know where i can find crazy game of poker live Atlantic city that was on HD NET live concerts back around January ?

  • I have listened to this song more times than the days I have been alive. And I'm 20...My favorite version was during one of their visits to Madison Square Garden. "Said my son, would you like to play a game? For your soul, your brain, and your heart? I got a few dollars left, I said that's fine..That was the craziest game I'd ever played in my lifeeeeeeeeeee" hell yeah, let's get crazy.

  • love this song

  • i didnt know people got this close to the stage at the tweeter haha GOTTA BE ON THE LAWN MAN!!!

  • There is a great interview with the guitarist on Fret12

  • this is really good quality!

  • they are fing sick

  • I like the way you guys are talking about DMB and OAR being good at improvisation, sureeee, they are really good I agree I love them both, but Phish is the best improvising band that currently tours

  • @alexn159 I go to those concerts too. But i cant help but think that Phish only sounds good when your fucked up, i prefer to see Grateful Dead related bands such as phil and friends, ratdog, DSO, and furthur. Not saying Phish isnt good, just saying I prefer to listen to DMB and Grateful Dead especially when Im sober. The Phish shows at merriweather this year were sick.

  • @Parrotisla I was at both Merriweather shows too! the second night was off the chains! I prefer DMB/ OAR etc when im sober too, but usually thats cause their jams are tighter and easier to follow, I feel like the same emotions and feelings the music brings in a fucked up state of mind can be captured sober, its just more difficult to get there...I love all these bands - I hate it when people pick them apart like im doing :)

  • @alexn159 i totally agree with everything you just said. You going to OAR at merriweather, ill be there.

  • "i say revolution" is the catchiest thing ever

  • these guys are fucking awesome. thats all folks

  • gotta love it. (:

  • i love oar but for those of you who think there songs are difficult most of there songs are 4 chords, however they groove the shit out of these chords and it just works

  • greatest live song ever

  • change in my pocket

  • i'v seen a lot ove bands i'm 48 no band with less EGO its a unity thing that blows my mind you cant fake it bruce 6 times had it bobby d had it 12 times ....not sold or bought you have it or .................

  • Excellent they are one of the most talented

  • crazzzzzzy....

  • i say revolution and you say die die die

  • @dothadew333 ja not die

  • I can't stop myself from listening to this.

It is true that complexity has nothing to do with good music. It's all about how you play it. How much feeling you put into it. And OAR are brilliant at it.

  • no band can currently touch O.A.R. when it comes to originality, and pure talent as song writers and musicians...The countless versions of this song proves it. If you dont beleive me, go see them live.

  • if your ssying theyre original by how many versions they have of one song check out DMB...im sure uve hear of them....#41, Jimi Thing so many songs that may last anywhere from 5min to 20min

  • i agree with teed

  • I third that, Ive never heard the same Dave version twice

  • DMB...nuff said

  • @JUSTreLAXbro7 i'v seen a lot ove bands i'm 48 no band with less EGO its a unity thing that blows my mind you cant fake it bruce 6 times had it bobby d had it 12 times ....not sold or bought you have it or ................. 1 second ago

  • @JUSTreLAXbro7 i'v seen a lot ove bands i'm 48 no band with less EGO its a unity thing that blows my mind you cant fake it bruce 6 times had it bobby d had it 12 times ....not sold or bought you have it or ................. 1 second ago

  • @USAngler12 I'm a big O.A.R. fan but they are far from the best musicians and most original band. If you're so knowledgeable about music, you must have heard Bela Fleck & The Flecktones or Phil Keaggy or Dream Theater or Neal Morse or The Avett Brothers. All more talented and more original than O.A.R. O.A.R. is a great party/frat band and provides great entertainment. As far as great musicianship - they are very good but aren't at the top of the heap. That's just ignorance to say such.

  • @USAngler12 You're still in high school aren't you?

This has to be a joke.

  • love this version. anyone know where i can download this version??

  • archive . org

  • the singers voice sucks...all my friends are obsessed with this band and they are not appealing to me at all...you cant even compare them to dave matthews band cause DMB would shit storm OAR if they played at the same concert

  • agreed

  • dont say his voice sucks..... i think the majority of ppl love it... if you really have to, say YOU dont like it.... dont judge for more ppl than just for yourself

  • though i totally agree with you, your judging for more ppl then yourself lol.... but OAR os prettty freakin awesome ;D

  • you're a fuckin dumbass..

  • im not gonna lie i think his voice isnt great too but i still really like this band

  • I downloaded this version a month or two ago. I almost regret it because I find myself listening to it too much! Terribly infectious.

Awesome song, awesome band, nuff said.

  • I love Rap.I Love Rock.I Love Pop. I love DMB and i discovered OAR through DMB...they sound very similar.

OAR is not better than the Beatles, but OAR is still an amazing band...

  • The only thing these guys are good at for more than 30 seconds is smoking pole.

Everyone comparing them to the Beatles, Hendrix, etc. as far a chords needs to have their hearing checked.

No wonder they had to have some retard with a mega-phone trying to drum up people to see them 20 minutes before a free show here.

  • ..that's because it's the same song... so the chords are generally the same...

  • dude you need to relax and learn to enjoy a song...

The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, all used simple repetitive chords.. and they created great songs.. so stop being a jerk and keep your Fkkn opinion to yourself dick

  • Youre seriously comparing this over-hyped drivel to The Beatles? ... c'mon dude

  • I'm not gonna say that OAR is better than the Beatles. I mean they are legends. But most of their songs were under 3 mins. A lot of 2 min 2:30 songs. A lot of simple songs. But they were also very catchy and great songs. Did you even bother to listen to any of the other shorter songs i have posted on here. This isn't my favorite OAR. They play it too much in concert.

  • @GallantlyStreaming OAR is better than the beatles. i extremely dislike all but like 4 of the beatles songs. they kinda aren't very good

  • @GallantlyStreaming beatles= not very good

  • @raaawwwwrrrrr yeah man you're right. they suck. you're better than them... you don't know what you're talking about. find the other half of your brain

  • @loudoggg29 that comment was made before i actually listened without a bias, i actually like em now

  • @GallantlyStreaming i think anybody can think whatever they want about the music they listen to. Music is all about what you hear and interpret. Just cause the beatles are known all over the world and have a bunch of hits doesnt mean shit. Its only because a million people say they were great that people perceive them as great. No doubt they were good, but so is OAR. Thats the beauty of music. Just because you say its over-hyped drivel, doesnt make it true. I'd say the beatles were over-hyped.

  • lol how ignorant of you. "the 19 minute song has three fucking simple-ass chords played over and over (maybe there were more but i couldnt make it past 6 min or so)" you're kinda off a whole 13 minutes, plus theres definitely more than 3 chords. And even if there were who care. Many Hendrix/Zeppelin songs are only 3 chords yet they're great. And a word about solos, it's not all about speed.

  • i agree. bands like phish and dmb have way better jams and play more complicated songs

  • true, i gave you a thumbs up, but this is some good stuff as well

  • Yeah But you cant compare phish to other bands because they are soo good. And O.A.R is good just not as good as phish or DmB.

  • Comment removed

  • complication has absolutely nothing to do with how good a band is at all

  • you can't believe people like good musicians such as OAR and even better yet DMB?

What do you listen to Rap Crap? How about you listen to someone who actually has musical talent and can play instruments in passionate and extraordinary way. DMB gives their all at every concert and no 2 concerts are ever the same which can also be said about OAR. You sir are misguided.

  • This is what makes them truly an amazing band... absolutely incredible stuff.

  • 8:52 wow the guitarist actually gets down and nasty right on

  • Love this band. Taking the wife to see them and Matt Nathanson in Charleston, SC. It's going to be sick!

  • i made out with jerry's sister when i was in college. true story. she looks like cheri oteri

  • p.s. i play the sax

    i love OAR

  • bout to see them at white river in indianapolis in 2 hours YA!

  • I agree the sax player is soooo hot! Well, they all are! Just saw them live like 2 days ago! WOOT!!!!

  • Holy shit!

OAR is playing near me in the next few months, and I was debating whether I should go or not, but after watching this video, I don't think there's any question.

See you guys at the show!

  • This isnt even one of their best performances.

They came to Cincinnati a couple weeks ago it was 5 times more entertaining/crazy.

Kids were jumpin on stage, crowd surfing but it was awesome/

  • Um their name is OAR (of a revolution)

its I say of you say A I say revolution

    and you say Jah

  • lol AHAHA

    good song

  • I say OH you say AH I say Revolution and you say YAH!!!

  • wrong lyrics.

  • jah

  • I wanna eat the sax player..that sexy beast :p

  • thank you OAR...i now have blue balls.

  • rofl live is the best

  • I'm a big OAR fan but this is the first time I saw this version, and I like it. Is this off of a concert DVD that I can get?

  • im sorry but the live version sucks ass

  • are you kidding me?! every single one of their songs is so much better when played live.

  • this live version isn't as good as live at MSG, but djs is right, all of their music is so much better live than studio.

  • i had never heard of them till yesterday, but they are kick ass for sure!

  • they call me crazzzzzyyyy...this is my chill song. awesome

  • im kidding

  • white people? lol are you joking? have you ever been to a southern blues bar or anything? jesus, take a trip to the bayou

  • this shit is for white people

  • you'd be very surprised the wide range of audiences that O.A.R. attracts

  • That's why people dont get killed there

  • That so cool... He has a magical transforming acoutic to electric guitar. It must have cost him alot.

  • Love this song Live...gives me chub everytime.

  • I must agree, I've heard them live once and crazy game is a whole different song live.

  • IM ALL IN..

  • they call me crazzzyy

  • Richard On...such and underrated guitarist.

  • I love this song

  • these guys are so much fun to listen to!

  • this video is good

  • That's funny. Too bad they didn't play your favorite songs. I don't place heard the world on my top songs. Not to mention the good thing about OAR is they don't play the SAME setlist every show. Just like DMB, Grateful Dead, and Phish. Which is the way it should be. The excitement is not knowing what the setlist is going to be. Are you just jealous that you didn't get to snort some coke and f*ck some girls?

  • yeah there are better concerts to go to than OAR, especially since the past 2 albums came out. I remember seeing OAR in small ass venues, definitely the better experience. At least the crowd was older then.

  • Phish is back! Me and my bro goin to see them in Virginia!

  • Fuck you hsmc, OAR is the best

  • You don't know what your talking about. Your prolly a Homo and ur g/f wants to break up with u

  • well if your girlfriend likes O.A.R...I'll give you my number for her to call me.. she's too good for you.

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, yes Stories wasnt great but it was decent but if you havent noticed every band has there good periods so they had two kind of crappy albums but I bet there next one kick some major ass like the wanderer did or between now and then did.

  • it wasn't as good as any of their albums. It was the second worst right after All Sides

  • haha wen he wants everyone to sing no one does. what the hell?

  • I can assure you people were singing. this was dubbed over with a soundboard recording, therefore you don't hear the crowd.

  • this song is better than lets say a dreaming tree by dmb because this song is continuous energized jamming (like many dmb songs) but a song like the dreaming tree is a nonstop boring same thing over and over

  • Dreaming Tree is so much better than this song its not even a question. A song doesn't need to be "energized" to be one of the most intricately written and best song in DMBs catalog. You cant consider this song jam because its played the same way every time, just like all of OARs music. OAR and DMB are not even close talent wise and catalog wise.

  • yeah i never said they were. i wa simply comparing 2 songs and btw im a much bigger dmb fan than oar

  • Personally, I don't know what the big deal is over dreaming tree. I never got into the song. I don't see what's so special about it. I agree DMB has more talent but I disagree with you saying that this song is played the same way every time. OAR does jam out their songs and this song is a good example. It's not originally 19 mins long and is played differently every time I see them in concert. Though I do wish OAR ould jam out more of their songs which I did notice this year at Merriweather.

  • ok i think u people dont understand me, i said this song always has energy which im sure u cant deny, it does have energy.

  • shut the fuck up you dumb piece of shit... nothing o.a.r has ever written compares to dave

  • might be one of the more ignorant statements i've ever heard... i used to be a HUGE o.a.r. fan until Stories of a Stranger came out. biggest bunch of sell outs in the music industry today... and if you want to talk about the boring same thing over and over, have you ever been to an O.A.R. show? let's see i guarantee they played crazy game of poker, hey girl, heard the world, and the black rock everytime probably... shut your mouth and realize that this doesnt compare to anyhting Dave has written

  • Yeah Dave is Way better. But OAR only plays Crazy Game every show. They Don't play anything else in every show. I agree stories of a stranger was the start of their down fall. I don't know what they were thinking when making that.

  • Every O.A.R. show I've been to has gave way to them playing CGOP, Hey Girl, Heard the World, and Black Rock... I've been to 7

  • I've been to 22 shows. The only song they played every time was Crazy Game. The next closest is Black Rock 17 times, and Hey Girl 17 times. Heard the world didn't come close with only 10. Since stories of a stranger they have played Love and memories every time which can suck my left nut. I will say they did use to play hey girl every time and black rock just about every time. Now if they only stopped playing CGOP every time. First time I saw dave was like the first time he didn't play ants.lol

  • i dont think u people really understand what i said. stupid hicks.

  • No I know exactly what you mean. You like this song because of it's energy compared to a good song like dreaming tree. But Dreaming tree is too slow, so it is not enjoyable because it's not as fast. i don't know about these other people, but I was never responding to you, i was replying to everyone else.

  • Chicago, Northerly Island?

  • lol, i can barely hear the crowd singing

  • that's because its a soundboard recording used in the video

  • savage tune like =)

gr8 tune 2 gt stoned with

neva smoke a joint without it lol

  • getting stoned must be a real important part of your day. you contribute so much to society, thank you,

  • how can we be as cool as you then?

  • how long is this song really?

  • 8:42

  • the song is different lengths depending on how much he talks before he plays it. when its on CD its like 7:30

  • audio is great. awesome song. good job recording too. thanks for uploading!

  • dude...I WAS THERE!! Seriously, im was around all you hatin kids age when i went to their concert, and guess what, i fucking LOVED it, so keep your opinion to yourselves. Also, that makes me wonder why you guys are watching an OAR video if you hate them.

  • haha I love how these kids can hate on O.A.R., just remeber there making millions while your at home watching youtube... whos the real loser?

  • leave it up to this tool to wear a crap hat. why cant these guys have any self resepect. you dont have to wear every new trendy thing that is put out there for 16 yr old. you're 35, act like it.

  • Wow and who exactly are you to judge what they do. fuck, when me and my friends played at a club in southside i wore fucking pjs so shut the hell up.

  • i disagree

  • . oar is amazing lol this is a live version clown

  • i am so proud to be from youngstown - thanks jerry you are a great influence to the fans at liberty high school we all love you and cant wait to hear more

  • Why would you say that you ass hole!?

If you don't like it don't be a bitch and post obnoxious comments.

  • hey wharfrat oar may be for those kinda cats but they do have some pretty damn good jams

  • yessir

  • not really, i don't wear hollister or abercrombie and i like OAR but yea i know what you mean but no.

  • your joking right, oar is more like a hippie jam band kind of scene. too much hate with people these days.

  • saw them in front of Dave Matthews in Hershey, PA. What a show

  • Thanks for posting this video. I was at this show. I've seen these guys a couple of times and this was by far their best version of this song.

  • O.A.Rs old stuff is way way better then their new stuff.their new stuff is way to much pop

  • I totally agree. The last OAR concert I went to I was being annoyed to hell by 15-16 year olds asking us for alcohal and leaning against my car and stuff. I wanted to kill someone. Worst tailgaiting experience ever. They even tried stealing it from our cooler!!!! But we caught them. Little shits. bring your own damn alcohal.

  • yup, where the fuck are their parents?- i had 15 yearolds askin me for beers and i tld them to go home and watch cartoons. -fukin kids these dayz.

  • lmao, I thought they had access to prescription pills, I thought that was the new thing, leave me and my alcohal alone, go do some pills, lol. Wait that's not a laughing matter....

  • they don't try hard enough. I was always able to find booze when I was their age!

  • you're the guy that can't even spell "alcohol" so how old are you?

  • I think its funny when people bash my spelling on youtube. that shows they have no other comeback for anything else, just like well.. you have an ugly shirt. But what the hell should you care I'm as old as you kisner33. You would be just as pissed if you had thesame shit happen to you at the show.

  • you people must be on crack...the keyboard sounds fuckin cool

  • the last good new band!

  • shame on all you haters. These guys are whats left of unique musicans. Wish there were more like them

  • Great song. I love the introduction of the keyboard to this song.

  • This rocks. It shows how far they can take this song. For us who have heard this song alot, it is so cool to see them switch it up. Give there fans what they want. Who cares what all the haters say, they have there music to, we all do! Dont have to like it, just let it play for others to hear!!!!!

  • afhevh...you obviously like this video or you wouldn't keep posting comments, and you obviously don't know diversity in music...evh, van halen? good virtuoso, but get more diverse...

  • I like the video, but only because there isn't another OAR live performance of it on youtube. I love this band, and love this song, but the keyboards wreck it. I'm just debating my point here.

  • didn't see the evh thing at first; thats a close family member's initials - nothing more.

  • you dont know O.A.R. the people who said it was garbage...cause this is how they are jamming out they add something diffrent everytime xD

  • wow, this version is very lame
