sw76 You are so full of yourself that I can smell you all the way out here. Your egotistical statements are full of incorrect assumptions. The only way your rhetoric could hold any merit whatsoever is if everybody started at the same "starting line" and you know it. What has made you so proud and hateful? Mommy wouldn't give you everything on a silver platter. You keep talking about paying your own way through school. Read some of your posts. They're full of grammarical and spelling errors.
Sorry for the grammarical errors and it sucks that life isn't fair. Nothing has made me hateful, but my work has made me proud. Why should I pay for people with no ambition, you want to sleep in until noon, then you get little money. You want to have everything done for you, then you will work for someone else. The rewards come with risk, desire and work ethic, if you have none, you get none. I am responsible for producing far more than I use, the result, living comfortably, without remorse.
I work for a living and I work in a civil society. You want live in harmony with the world, fine. Just don't expect me to carry your ass. Students in France are fighting for free education, guess what. I paid for mine and I'd do it again. Everyone expecting someone to look after their interests, ie Government. are those who are helpless to help themselves. Why should the working man bear the brunt of these socialist ideals, while the lazy often reap rewards greater than those who work?
steven i agree with you and i had a problem with the idea of me helping others who are "helpless" so i started pondering and what i came to realize is that even if i work or if i don't it does not matter because one way or another im still enslaved to s system a system that is corrupted and a system in which the rich get richer and the working class get poorer...
You are not enslaved by anything, if you don't like the benefits or downside of a system you can work outside of it, if you think that would suck, maybe the system isn't so bad. What people don't realize is that they ALWAYS have a choice. There are people who are soveriegn, human rights in Western countries anyway affords freedoms which are guaranteed. I am a slave to nothing, If I choose to work for someone that is a deal we make, I am not obliged to work there.
you are a slave to the system and truly there is no way to workoutside of it specially the tight knight system of the USA think about it even the drug money is counted in the worlds GDP and in one form or another it ends up becoming types of investment in the USA or other western currencies so in reality we are slaves to the system and if there is a way to work outside of it let me know i might give it a try.
Again, I amm a slave to no-one. If someone else has something that I want, I have to offer them something for it. If that is labour, then so be it. You people need to wake up and smell the coffee. If everyone produced as much as I did, there would be no shortage, instead of praying or protesting, get up off your ass and contribute something.
Shortage is created and perpetuated by the system. You are a slave because you have to produce to acquire anything. The idea is that the wealthy 1% of the people in the world have the money to provide the resources to those dying of starvation, but they don't because they want to keep their money because it gives them power.
Money is nothing, the power is held in the knowledge and work done. We all have to produce to acquire anything, that is nature, if we produce nothing we are of no value to society. There is no magic to wealth, it is hard work, unless you are born to a family of an ancestor who worked hard to procure his family's future.
The world's wealthiest are often the most charitable but I would use my wealth to change the world the way I wanted it, wouldn't you?
Your right, money is nothing. What about the people born into poverty in the world? Where united states corporations have already procured all the resources, and polluted the enviornment so its nearly impossible to live off the land. The wealthy people in the world are charitable because they get tax write offs for it and it actually saves them money through their corporate loop-holes. 1% of the population in the world own 50% of the capital. 9.5 billion people are left to survive on the rest.
How many people of those give others an oppotunity to earn a living and pay for things like education and health benefits for their employees. The countries which live in poverty are mostly those that are dominated by warlords or need to develop, do you think handouts have actually helped or hurt these people, in many cases, the handouts do more harm than good.
The really, really interesting part is that people in countries who were wealthy where the economic system collapsed more often than not become wealthy under the new system as well, these people scramble and work hard for what they have. My brother as an example used to work about 80+ hours a week to build up his business, now he employs 20 people and enjoys a more relaxed time and wealth. You reap what you sow.
If the world is full of cowards who won't stand up for themselves then why should anyone give them what they want for nothing. It doesn't work that way. I should not have to carry the burden of another person that makes poor choices and is downtrodden. When I was born I didn't have a debt to everyone else to pay, I had my own ass to look after. People should be grateful for the charity they recieve and not expect it. You are enititled to nothing unless a society deems it. Don't like it, pack up.
Interesting story, true story. WHen economies crumble the same people end up back on top. The reason why. Most people are stupid or careless with money. If you work and save, invest, etc. You can become rich. If you are looking for instant millions, play the lottery or rob a bank and hope to get away with it. But don't say it's impossible, it happens all the time. People in bad places work hard and make soemthing of themsleves. If you want a handout, quit now, ain't gonna happen.
If you were to successfully stop globalization you would effective end any need for peace the world currently has. If I have no need of another country because I no longer have a vested interest, that means to get the resources that country has I have to invade instead of barter. Anti-Globalization is stupid.
haha, not really, you could consider, and of course this is only my opinion, you could consider trading with that country instead of invading it :)
Now, your definition of globalization is probably something similar to "democratic integration of the world into a single free market". However, actual globalization has nothing incommon with democracy or free market. Corporate colonialism in South America, Africa and vast parts of Asia and eastern Europe is more appropriate name.
You see countries that use child labour as bad, beats prostitution and guess how everywhere in the world was 200 years ago, just like 3rd world countries today. They have to start somewhere. Now lets take away the resources the world bank offers and rely only on their own merits. Does that make things better or worse. Worse I'd say. This economic downturn is yet another insignificant blip in the history of humanity. Antiglobalization is a lightning rod for losers who want everything for free..
Flash news, "Anti-Globalization" doesn't exist. It's more like there's two main factions within the globalization movement: the corporatist faction (a minority) that wants a type of globalization based on the philosophy that western economic elites ought to use various scams to transfer huge amounts of wealth from the third world to them, while finding ways to drive down wages and living conditions for working people in the west,
as well as taking over western governments while promoting, erm, 'business friendly' regimes in the rest of the world (it's called "spreading democracy") to facilitate that; and the rest of the Globalization movement (that's been around since a long time, in fact since the time labor organizations started calling themselves 'internationals' in the 19th century) that wants a type of globalization that's actually in the interest of people
Your guest relies on statistical analysis that has been repeatedly proven inferior recently by Austrian Economic analysis.
I find it very ironic that you proclaim that this media is anti-corporate, yet you seem to exclusively bring in statists that are likely ebbed on by most corporat-archs. Regulations are nearly always encouraged and bribed forward by corporations.
Behind every succes there is failure, behind every failure there is succes. Humanity needs to move beyond their senseperceptions and unbox their own mind, move into a state of human being rather than human doing. Everything is connected we are one energyfield and the world as it is today is a reflection of a very low level of Consciousness. But the new is unfolding, therefore you need mankinds egotistical complex unhealthy structures to collapse. The world can only change from within.
Labels don't do anything for me, when you say a certain group did something your trying to lay down a blanket over all of them and thats just not how it works.
You have a point, but it doesn't change the fact that these belief systems are behind this 'globalization'. All three have done what they can to keep wealth and knowledge out of our hands, and it all began with the three so-called 'Holy Books'. They are used as a tool to remove knowledge. Read even just one of them, and you'll realize this.
Really? Lets hear why besides this removal of knowledge? And how do they remove knowledge? I've seen a lot of Christians go from rags to riches and not by help from a church. More money = growing knowledge.
More money = growing knowledge, huh? That might hold truth, but what do you think happens to that knowledge? Much of it is suppressed by either religious or business interests. That's why you'll never see some medical treatments in the west, or even universal health care. That's also why they're doing everything they can to get rid of birth control.
Yes but private companies have now found there is alor of money in jailing those whom disagree. Which has given birth to corp prisons. Which has given birth to corp stock options traded on the open market based souly on the population of their prisons. So to get growth you must imprison more humans. Which now fuels the police weapons markets. It's all tied together and the bow on top is wall street and the FED.
I'm hoping there is a huge fight among themselves. I do not believe we are so far gone morally to fire missiles at our own people. I could be wrong based on what I have seen them capable of doing to other people. They are made cold blooded killers.
I'm mainly preparing for the riots in a defensive posture. I live down south, where when a certain group of people do not get their monthly checks they riot. I'm sure I will be dealing with that fact than a chance the elite services turning on me.
Yes, and I'm willing they're just hoping for an armed revolution in the states. Those arms dealers would make a killing by playing both sides of the coin.
Its what they have always done. Problem, reaction, solution. The ones who create the problem, manipulate the reaction, and provide the solution always come out obscenely wealthy. It's the guy who no longer knows how to feed himself, let alone his family that suffers.

@jailarson It is worse than that.
Selling weapons to a fascist right-winger in a country gives them the means to take over the country to re-pay the debt
Then more money is pumped in to buy more guns and more debt to re-pay.
Until you get debt states where the loaner nation can demand repayment and seemingly justifiably pump in more guns and debt.
It is called odious debt.
It has fucked half the world for arms corp $.
