What I normally do with Agni and Rudra is knock them BOTH to a sliver of health before taking either one out. That way, I can kill the other one before he has a chance to get his brother's sword. Sure, it means I have to deal with two of them most of the fight, but it staves off the really high powered double sword attacks. :P

A good trick, if you don't want to fight Super Agni/Super Rudra, you can whittle them both down and kill them one after the other in quick succession. This is arguably easier than fighting the upgraded form.

Agni and Rudra have different swing timers, so it's difficult to learn when to parry, but you can mess around either on this mission or mission 18 (Invading Hell, you can practice all the boss fights here conveniently).

Finally, the brothers can damage each other, exploit this :) nice vid

For a casual video I was impressed with how many times you disarmed Agni and Rudra, you even disarmed them both simultaneously at one point in the vid, nice job.

Just some random info for you: The red one is Agni and the blue one is Rudra. The reason Agni goes down so fast is because he has an elemental weakness to Cerberus. Rudra however, is resistant to Cerberus, hence why he stayed alive longer. If I recall correctly though, Rudra has a weakness to Agni+Rudra (although that doesn't help lol)

I got these guys in a combo. I went after one with Cerberus, and then, while I was attacking him, the other one moved in and lost his sword because of Cerberus' all-around-Dante attack pattern, so I went after him, and it repeated.

What I do is use epic gunslinger to get them both at very low health, then you can kill them both pretty easily without having to fight the combined swords.

On that level I first took half of their life by fighting them and then used the holly water, after that their GONE AND DEAD!!!!!! easy.

Oh and when they run away and jump at you, dodge the first one and go near him and the second will jump and slice his brother.

You can have them hit themselves...like certain times if your in between them and you jump they'll clash and both swords fly away you can attack em both simultaneously

best stratagy for Agni and Rudra are focus on one then the other. ^.^ it worked all the time for me. once you get one over with it's better to just play it long range.

I tend to fight them both, each one at a time to keep their damage equal then once one is down finish off the other quickly before he summons the power of his fallen brother's sword.

@katrinonus i think vergil is weaker in the first game is because this game is a prequel and after ante beats vergil he gets weaker?just a theory. plus they probably didnt think this far into this game while working on the first one sooo.....
