Utada is as famous as Ayumi in Japan, Namie Amuro too. So I don't get what you're sayin. Everybody who lives in Japan know these 3 names with no exception. And you forgot that the most selling album in Japan is from Utada (First Love which sold 9 millions). BTW I love Utada's and Ayu's voices.

I'm sorry...I wasn't talking about their fame in Japan, but in the whole world. Basicly, singers from Japan or nearby aren't known a lot, but from time to time you can hear something about Ayumi for example.
