  • @Outdoorskid82 agreed I'm 12 and I have a 1989 ford f150 ;)

  • @MrZombies24 why the fuck would you wink about that?

  • it look like the Coronado didiint need the help of the f150

  • ive always been a chevy guys but with my work truck just hitting 475k miles and fords new raptor 6.2....i can say it yet but im growing fond!

  • @audiomandk79 haha yeah they're beautiful trucks. I've always been a ram guy xD

  • Man, Fords have more tradition than any other truck on the market. I have been a ford guy since i could know what a ford is.

  • i have same truck too, love it

  • Thats the same blue ford F-150 that I have. Excellent truck all the way!

  • 2wd? waste of time and tires

  • Now I know who trashed the rear end in my pickup I got used!

  • the point of the 2wd shitbox here was....? clearly the rig was able to move under its own power, and if it couldnt, that truck would have been just as useless

  • what was proven here? and why was it in the ditch, was alcohol a factor, Drunken hillbillies...lol

  • You did nothing except spin? lol

  • why was the rig in the ditch to begin with? :/

  • @iamsuperbleeder Poor judgement...

  • good thing u had it dry and sunny. some people ask why u need a 4wd, perfect example. smart driver+4wd=the anytime anywhere man. obv. the ford didnt really do anything, im a ford man, the semi had enough idle power to get itself out, though i wonder if the ford slid the front end around after semi got out? looks like a lot of weight going to where that ford was pulling, makes less weight on other wheel so its more easy to slide. though u wud have seen better from a 4wd model tho

  • the truck was inching it's way out just on the starter befor the ford even took up the slack so it could have got out without the ford's help

  • idk how you people didnt notice.....the semi has a winch.....so its pulling itself out...the f150 just keeping the chain tight....

  • there is no dought that the f150 didn't do it alone. the semi was helping but with out the ford that semi would of stayed put

  • What was the point of even getting the ford hooked up, it obviously couldn't and didn't get the big truck out. Theres no way a personal pickup would have gotten that truck out of the ditch, it's plain physics -- the little pickup is just too light to have any traction to pull the big truck up off it's frame and out of the hole.

  • so it starts rolling forward before the ford even starts pulling it at 2:14. it obviously wasn't all Ford power helping there.

  • @kurri66 Yeah it's obvious, before the truck started rolling the ford tried a pull and did nothing but spin the tire.

  • ive done better than that with my k5 blazer

  • @rednek234 Do you have a video? Didn't think so.

  • @rednek234 that p.o.s blazer couldnt pull itself out of hard rain ford all the way

  • Viral Video

  • Thats a Ford for you.

  • I saw a Subaru do the same thing in less time.

  • that sould be a ford commercial

  • a chiterlee could'nt do that

  • a chiterlee

  • did someone wanna start that truck

  • Might have helped a little, but the 'liner did 95 percent of gettin its own ass out of that rut..

  • @platypusone how? they couldn't even get it started. the ford did it.

  • the f-150 didnt pull out shit the semi got its own self out

  • @garrettpollard54

Is that why they bothered to attach the rope dumb ass?

  • ive been driving a semi for 7 years with my experience ranging from 379 pete's to 387pete's to t600 KW's to volvos to the freightshaker. i get in and turn the key and she cranks up. with the pete's it wouldn't let me start it for a couple seconds but with all of the others would just turn right over and fire right up.. working on my second million miles in this nation of ours....... hammer down! there was clearly something wrong with this semi since he acutally used the starter to recover.

  • those diesel have things called glow plugs you have to let them warm up before you start it

  • @WR250FGNCC Actually not in commercial vehicles they dont. The diesels in semi's havent used glow plugs for over 20 years

  • It`s entirely possible for this to happen. About 9yrs ago I towed a 79 R series Mack around a depot with an 87 XF Ford Fairmont Ghia sedan. 4.1l, straight 6, auto, 9'' limo. It was just the tractor unit and the depot was mostly flat but the truck had 3 flat tires.

  • BTW!!!....the truck wouldnt have been need because, if you can see when the truck isnt pulling the semi pretty much gets its self out of the ditch because the starter was still turning the wheels enough to get it out!!! dont comment on this i dont give a shit, i wont reply

  • Believe it about 8 years ago up in Bakersfield I was driving the same kind of 18 wheeler loaded and I tried to make a u turn got stuck in the middle of the dirt road was pulled out by an old 2x2

  • sounds like a winch...

  • it didnt even pull it out, the semi drove out when there was no tension on the chain

  • how did the Freightshaker driver get that thing in that position,,,,

  • @IRONSEAN7 Looked like he as backing in and wasnt payin attention the tandem axles.

  • the big truck is out of fuel due to the truck leaning to the right ........and it also sounds like he is runing the truck in low gear wile trying to start it as to help its self out of the ditch...........glad thats not my driver

  • what i would like to know is WHY THE FUCK HE WENT THAT WAY TO GET OUT OR BACK THAT TRUCK IN. must be a new driver. super trucker to the rescue!

  • What a load of crap! That rig was moving and then the Ford pulls the slack out of the chain and starts pretending. If you can't see that you shouldn't be wasting time on YouTube.

  • I dad to have my rig pulled out of sand before by a pickup.this is real

  • what gear was the bobtail in LL1

  • howw in the fuck did that idiot do that with his truck??? and that idiot in the bed waiting for the chain to break and snap back at him lol

  • howw in the fuck did that idiot do that with his truck???

  • I'm 13 and i'm gunna take a wild gueess and say he's got that thing in gear while trying to start it or i could be wrong.... but it sounded like the starter slowed down alot when the truck started to move and the chain still had slack... Maybe i'm a geniouse =p

  • how did it get there in the first place?

  • at about 2:20 does the pickup have a winch or is that the starter mentioned by robby844

  • @thmper88 Yea, it actually can, anybody can push a car in neutral, and you think a truck cant pull a semi??? lol right, WHEELS play a big part in moving things. Out of all the trucks that you can buy a think the FORD would be best, selling the most trucks thats obviously saying that, thats a real good truck. I dont even have a ford truck but i would get one over any dodge or chevy any day.

  • I beleive a ford could of pulled the semi out of a small ditch like that, i beleive alot of trucks could. Its pretty easy to move stuff with wheels, and obviously the semi was making a attempt too to make it out of the ditch.

  • the rig cold pull that ford just by doin wat he did don't push the clutch in and turn it over

  • bet the starter in that freightliner was red hot

  • that Freightliners starter was stronger than the Ford truck ! funny vid

  • @fyrebyrd301 bigger engine.

  • Lol who buys a 2wd truck.

  • @UbelFeuer i do fuck tard

  • @UbelFeuer no shit, who buys a 2wd half ton at least, i can see the use for a 2wd super duty...... but 2 wheel drive half tons get a big thumbs down.

  • Hey jackasses the point wasnt for the F-150 to pull the rig out unassisted. It was to give the rig the extra help it needed to get out. And thats still very damn impressive. If you look for videos just to attack find something else to do with your life.

  • Well no Chevy or dodge can pull the semi either!

  • All the semi needed to get out was to be pulled forward enough to grip the side of the ditch. One the tires on the semi grab the bank, it will usually pull itself up.

  • who said it was two drive

  • I had to watch the video twice. the chain was tight. And yes a half ton pick up can pull a semi truck. Iv broke down in a wash bay with my semi and had a half tom pull me out. The reason the truck sounds change he puts in gear to help get out of the ditch while hitting the starter button.

  • looks to me that the truck was already out before the ford started pullin... and even before the ford started pullin, the truck had almost one axle on the pavement... so therefore, he only had lock in both differentials... the ford looked useless to me...

  • WHAT TRUCKER GETS HIS RIG STUCK LIKE THAT??? MORON!

  • @robertjohnson487 Hey, wait a minute, you told me that you didn't know how to drive a stick.

  • it may have not done all the work but it definitely helped

  • as you see, the truck's running board is on the ground. the truck is not only stuck, but as the ford is pulling it out, he is trying to start the engine,. GO FORD!!

  • the f-150 was there to help add some more pulling force. This thing must weight like 25k lbs with the trailer, that's way more then the trucks payload. Only an idiot would think it pulled it out.

  • chain or string you assrags

  • how did the clown end up in a ditch like that

  • @tritty84 that's what i was thinkin'

  • why would the big rig not start

  • Oh yeah, I could see this happening. There's a video around somewhere of a WRX STI helping a semi out of SNOW. If that could happen, this likely can, too.

  • @ShariCoxPelzel oh so he was doing a brakestand there? how was he getting the wheelspin without pulling a huge weight

  • chuck norris drives a ford =]

  • @ShariCoxPelzel fuck up

  • winch

  • The semi was on a winch. U guys are fuckin retards lol

  • yea bs semi got his own ass out yea the ford was trying to help but no traction so i really couldnt tell u y

  • @ShariCoxPelzel you can't even see the chain

  • When hell freezes over will this happen. That rig weighs alot more than that little truck can pull not to mention, what stupid dumb ass gets his rig stuck in a ditch...fucking stupid!

  • how did that rig end up in the ditch in the first place? remember my first time driving a semi haha totally kidding

  • All you blind people the trucks not trying to start nor does the 150 pull the truck out listen carefully it a hidden winch pulling the truck....that's all I have to say

  • @ShariCoxPelzel How about you keep the comments to yourself it's just a video.

  • the semi pulled itself out ant the ford did nothing. also another thing that f-150 will not pull a semi out of a ditch while on a gravel road with only 2 wheel drive you can clearly see the tires where only spinning meaning zero traction. also if the f 150 was really pulling the semi when it got out of the ditch the semi would have sped up to the fords speed not the ford getting slowed down to the semi's started speed.

  • @hillbilly786 oh they do

    chevy

    all day ,,,, every day

  • built ford tough

  • I love ford BUT I feel the Semi was IN GEAR with starter pushing it....because you can CLEARLY see that THEN the F150 tries to pull. Soooo nooo. A 4x4 would do the job but a 2wd NO!

  • Seriously all the ford did was add that little bit of puch to pull teh truck out. For example, my neighbour was stuck on a hill in his car, he could not get out at all. me being 5'9 began pushing him after rocking about 5 times he was able to get out. The semi probably had 90% ability to get out. the ford just added the 10%. Sometimes things jsut need a little push.

  • did anyone else see that the semi started moving before the truck started pulling again

  • The pull is nice and steady. (I'm gonna go with winch)

  • Howd u hit that ditch its hard not to miss

  • i agree with the cjt4191 fords are good trucks and they have some power. We pull a 2 ton trailor with my 2006 f-150 in 2wd and also load it with 25 bags of 50lb corn and 4 four wheelers, the ford in the vid did what you saw with no help

  • I love how this video says that the ford f-150 cam to the rescue when it's towing capacity is only 11,300 pounds and that truck with the trailer was like 12 tons, plus pulling it out of the ditch too.

  • Built Ford Tough :)

  • Dude you are 110% right. The fords tires werent even spinning when the semi was moving forward

  • anyone ask how the fuck he hit that ditch wtf

  • @MsFuckknuckles ahaha ya that was my first thought too...

  • i find that pretty funny...if you were working for a company were i live they'd say "congrats you just lost your job"

  • did he drive on the starte wtf?? why didnt the semi start

  • it hurts my heart watching this!

  • You Cant Compare just one of each vehicle. You have to find the overall statistics

  • what kinda of drunk person does it take to try that?

  • well the semi put it in 1st gear and drove it on the starter

  • It's pain to watch this video 'cause Coronado and Lonestar are favorite trucks. Nice step-deck too.

  • lol, that pickup didn't do anything but burn rubber. Nostoh is right, he used his starter. I guess its the thought that counts 150 driver. The little engine that could.

  • Fords break. Jeeps are forever

  • Ya jeeps are good offroad and dont last! ford best selling for reasons dodge boyz

  • The title of this video made me think of something else.

  • Yeah i thought they would be going in opposite directions

  • so your tellin me that that 2wd f-150 pulled out that semi while it was spinning on rock BULL-SHIT

  • Well it's right there for everyone to see.

  • @CJT4191 Whats there for everyone to see is the truck driving itself out of the ditch before the ford even takes the slack out of the chain. All the ford did was kick up dust.

  • @CJT4191 All I see is an F150 spinning its tires and the Semi doesn't move at all. Then the chain goes slack and the semi pulls out of the ditch on its own. Then once the semi has all wheels back on the road of its own doing the f150 pulls the chain tight again and spins its wheels some more as the semi continues to idle forward.

  • @andy72xbox no one is telling you, , the video clearly shows it fuckin pulling the semi..........

  • @colebags14 open your eyes the semi is doing sll the work the ford is doing nothing

  • @andy72xbox And just how long have you been driving heavy trucks to give you such a broad authority of it jackass? Do your research before you start flapping that mouth of yours. Damn noobs.

  • @FLABandit a my dad has been driving for about 15 years

  • @andy72xbox shutup stupid

  • @bigredjimmy95 dont leave a dumbass comment and look at the fuckin time i posted the comment, i dont care

  • @andy72xbox 4 wheel drive has nothing to do with it a 2 wheel drive truck is more then capable it all has to do with the engine it has and gear ratios my 2 wheel drive 73 ford is just as good as any but i got a 390 V8 and 3 speed with 4:11 gears its a power house but my dads 2 wheel drive S10 pulled a semi too its not that hard that and 2 wheel drive vehicles put mor torque and horse power to the ground because its not being run through a transfer case

  • @73ford250 i dont fucking give a shit, but a 2wd is not more than capable when its spinning on rock, when the truck is spinning, power and gear ratios dont come into play....

  • I could be wrong, but that did not sound at ALL like a big rig trying to start, sounded like someone else's truck off camera...somethin really fishy, and Im sure the F150 could pull it out in 4WD, but I only seen rear wheels slippin.....2WD isnt gonna give ya enough traction to do that....

  • Well first of all. Nothing was running off camera, nothing at all. And a 4x4 could have done that but this is not a 4x4 Truck. The pickup was just there to give it the extra inch. Not to pull it out completely, just to help.

  • @CJT4191 yeah man i gotta laugh at these people that comment thinking that they all know how to pull stuff out.my guess is the truck ran out of fuel when it went into the ditch and hes using the starter to move it up on the road? it happens alot on jobs im on.

  • @robby844 You're the first person I've heard get it right. The truck had no fuel, therefore we improvised, with some boards at first (wedge) which failed quickly. And then with the pickup. I'm not claiming the Ford lifted the truck up off the ground and swung it around the other side and sat it down. But it did help. And guys just for the record, there was nothing hidden in the background pulling the truck out, freakin idiots. This video was filmed in a front yard in Goodrich, Texas.

  • @CJT4191 yeah i know.any little bit helps in situations like this.all he needed was tension in this case.

  • @CJT4191 after two years he is the first one, wow!!!!

  • @CJT4191 lol i thought it sounded like you are driving it with the starter lol

cool bet those batteries got warm

  • @yellowmusicfreak yeah, a pretty legit vid.

Trucks starting in gear to give some push, hence its rolling by itself at 2:15.

If you try and start your car in gear, the torque is quite high and can help(in different situations) to get you out of a rut.

I think the pick-up is only helping about 5%...no much I'd guess.

  • Sim, o torque da F150 é ótimo. Conseguiu puxar o Coronado sem problema nenhum. Acontece que quem subiu sozinho foi o Freightliner aheuiaheauieuhaeia

  • the truck is getting itself out of the ditch running the starter, the pickup is just there to keep from killing the batteries, that ford did not pull it out of the ditch, lol

  • I was going to say the same thing that the truck would not start and used his starter to creep out . The 150 just helped him along a little after he had already started to move.

  • yeah about the have to rebuild american engines 7-8 years ford has this nice engine called the 300 ci straight six and yeah thel run forever so know your shit before you open your mouth you little punk asshole

  • @farmboyethan they still use them in all the ups trucks with 400k plus miles on them

  • ya those do pretty much run forever, my dad put over 300K miles on his '86. Outlasted the clutch, exhaust, and pretty much the whole truck

  • Fords are just heaps of shit? Fords beat the shit out of Jap Scrap Toys. I wouldn't even use a Toyotay as my beater truck. My 88 Ford Ranger 6 cyl. was stored for 10 years on stale gas and oil. All I did was put some fresh gas in with the stale gas and a new batterey, and she cranked and idled first crank! so yeah I dont think Fords are shit, more like reliable trucks with a great reputation. And without the ford, you wouldn't even have the Friggin Yota's around

  • @acegamer2 by the way toyota recalled all their tundra engines

  • exactly what I mean!

  • good one dude, toyota sucks... just deal with it.

  • hey at least he knows he has a good starter. i hate all the new trucks that can't do that. had a '49 willys jeep, used that trick before to get out of a ditch lol.

  • lol man the tundra is probably the worst truck of them all. the ford f-series are hands down the best trucks money can buy. give me a legitimate reason that toyota is better than ford. for starters, i'll just give you one little example of why the tundra shouldn't be a truck. google "tundra tailgate"

ps. you're probably one of those poor souls who actually bought one of those things LOL. poor poor tundra owner.

  • GO FORD ! I hate toyota trucks

  • actually fiat backed out of the deal with chrysler i agree toyota is a good truck but no ofense but they're not really required to do much other than haul a dirtbike go to point A point B and maybe slpash through a puddle. the big 3's truck have a much larger calling and work load i have a 93 F350 with 220000 miles and ive never done anything more than performance upgrades and routine tune ups. if your dont like the american videos and the vehicles that are in them dont watch it

  • I dont have a problem with US trucks, but theres been quite a few anti-toyota remarks posted on this video & its totally sad. Very dumb.

There isnt even a yota in this video?lol

Im only being honest, yes american trucks are better at towing things but there nowhere near the build quality of Jap trucks.

Yank tanks have to have engine rebuilds every 7/8 years, Jap cars just go on & on as long as you change the oil & filters.

Big truck does not mean good truck.

  • i have an '89 f-250 with the stock engine, and probably would have the stock transmission if it hadn't been in that accident (took out the tranny cooler).

  • GO FORD

  • nice pull with the ford...sure showed that freightliner whos boss

  • @dueltruck700 Umm, I think the truck had it in a granny gear and was using the starter to move the truck from what I gather.

  • looks like your absolutely right, the starter even dies down as its trying to move the truck, good way to bust flywheel teeth

  • Пиздец сцеплению у Форда

  • Dude, the truck was moving itself before you ever got the tension on the chain again... BUT I did help a friend out once which he had dropped a front wheel of his 9900 International in a snowy ditch with my Subaru Forester. It took half an hour but we managed to get traction back to his drive wheels by binding a chain to my Forester and pulling. Every little bit helps I guess! :)

  • in my dreams? Its veryyyy possible. If you dont think so, then how come a 8,000 pound SD can pull out a semi WITH a trailer hooked up to the 5ht wheel?? So tell me why a F150 4x4 low, cant pull out a semi WITHOUT a trailer?? Its very possible. You just gotta be smart about it.

  • why wouldn't the truck start?

  • It was too low on fuel to register at that angle.

  • it must of been on fumes

  • Most of you retards dont knowwhat your talkin about anyways. I gurantee if that truck was a 4x4, and used 4x4 low, that pull woulda been alot easier. Thats why ya pay the extra money to buy a 4x4...

  • in your dreams bud do you know how much those trucks way UNLOADED

  • ya they "way" about 6-8 tons, not a difficult feat for a truck that can tow 4.5 on the HIGHWAY at 75....I've seen a 20 year old F150 6cyl 4x4 DRAG a busted up school bus across a field in 4WD. They got more low end grunt than ya think.....

  • ford didnt do shit the freightliner was movin itself the ford just stood there spinin like a bitch....now my dodge cummins would have pulled him out no problem!!

  • Right, because everyone knows Dodge, and Cummins are such "Great" brands for reliability. Maybe the new Dodge trucks but I'd still never touch anything other than CAT or Detroit.

  • you have a diesel dip-shit no duh it would get him out easier this truck is gas.....

  • wow man that ford i never seen that befor wow that is why i love ford call on a ford to do a hard job like that 5 star's
