it's so fun to see you play with your parot the same way I play with my cats!
I've been wanting a parrot for a very long time but I always have second thought because I'm afraid it may not be for me. but I've seen them act like my cats in many videos and seeing a behavior I can relate to/recognize kinda reassure me. but yes, I do know that a parrot would be a lot more job than a cat, I've made a lot of research and will continue to until I can buy one ^_^
Oh wow you must be half deaf :D no offense im just saying that cuz you also have sun conures in the back rite? haha loud house i bet.... anyway i love the way you take the time to play with your bird...my goffin loves doing that too but my african grey could use a bit more fun i guess :D anyway great vid, continue to take good care of your birds!
@IvyDDD44 Zoey taught herself that one. It was something she picked up as she was trying to bite me and I would say "No!" Now she just says the "No!" herself. :) She is a pretty special part of my life.
@SimplyRisque If you play with them as often as I play with Zoey then they don't use their beaks in anger for any reason. Zoey will scream "No!" instead of biting when she wants to get her point across. :)
@mohammedaltab2078 I don't know because I am not a breeder. Zoey was 17 weeks old when she came to live with me and I was still feeding her weaning pellets with other food at that time. A breeder would be able to tell you how long it takes to wean them.
@TITANSMRS Hi - laying on their back is a sign of ultimate trust and it depends on the bird and how much time and love you give to them. It takes a while to train a parrot to lay on their back like that. They really have to feel safe and trust you. Give your bird patience, love, and LOTS of attention and they will repay you with many happy moments. :)
The way my B&G gets exersise is by running up the stairs and bitting the heck out of my brother... and chasing after me (Im his mama and he loves me too much)
Sadly that is my African Grey imitating my sun conure. :) LOL....as if ONE bird making that lovely screeching noise wasn't enough. My parakeet has learned it now as well. :)

@sbloveaholic Not get one.

@sbloveaholic Find a bird shelter in your area and join. Whenever they get new birds you have to adopt them. But there might be a waiting list

You have a great bond with Zoey how did you teach her to say no instead of bite? Or did she teach herself?
