I'm E Sang Hyung, Sam Lee, aspiring Pro trumpeter...God bless you, you sound AMAZING...please don't stop PRAYING and BELIEVING that you will get BETTER UNTIL THE DAY YOU DIE....that is how I see the trumpet....you need real prayer...god bless you!! God Bless South Korea if you are South Korean!!!
@BreathinMusic It's from Bach's Oboe Concerto in G minor, BWV 1056. This is the second movement (Adagio). He also reworked this piece into a harpsichord concerto and it also find its way as the Sinfonia in Bach's Cantata 156 (BWV 156).
wow, what an awesome arrangement! and you sound great on it, you have obviously have really studied the trumpet! beautiful phrasing and you dont look half bad either! ;)
Interesting observation; I to the contrary consider the tone of the trombone to be one of heroism and majesty, conjuring up images of angels and kings.
@Nfl233 Hoe kan men de klanken van een Trombone luie klanken gaan noemen tenzij men nooit Trombone heeft gespeeld.Trombone en Trompet zijn twee mooie instrumenten met elk een ander Timbre.
That was my solo in 11th grade! I didn't play it tha well though...and I didn't play it on pic...And I had a more watered down arrangement...but still...SWEET! love the playing :)
i love that first movement, arioso is one of my favorites and the pic is most def my favorite. Now the goal is to play it as pretty and musical as you did.
My god but you're good. I guess you know that alread.

Nice music, but if I'm right, in original that's Concert for oboe and orchestra. But anyway, nice played, I love this music.
jtichavs 3 years ago
There is a version for oboe and another one for harpsichord. I don't know which one is the original. Bach recycled much of his music.

trombone? ummm i hope your kidding, how could you mistake the fat, lazy tone of the trombone for the beautiful sound of the trumpet?

@dolofonos ???? Great playing! But trombone? really?!

@Nfl233 I don't think trombone is "fat and lazy" the trombone is almost the same for it is still a brass instrument.
