U can't hear it cuz there is a regular box intake if u put a cone intake the vtec is hella loud I'd say louder than any car that has vtec !!!

today i went up to 140k the rpms where way up their and

i did have to stop in a short distance sine it was in town lol

and anyways the thing is when i came to a stop it smelt weird inside and it scared me a bit

is that perfectly normal or could it be form me coming to a stop to fast?

cause i dont want to wreck the vehicle since i only got it few months back

Don't do it all the time lol, but yeah that smells comes with me too in my infinti fx35..I always gun it and break hard and you smell a burning smell or something similar..it's fine, i doubt anything bad happend

But yeah, if you abuse your car, then it will eventually give you problems.. (down the road)

@TjKhunkhuna1991 I did a 0-92 mph and slammed on my brakes back to 0 on my versa and got no smell. Pedal did get soft though and had 2 apply extra force 2 the pedal. Had a 92 coroll and ragged on it so bad that the car would not stop because the rotors were red and smoking. it came 2 a slow stop eventuall and it smelled so bad i could die in the car!

D5 meaning its in drive and shifting through all 5 gears, D4 in drive shifting through 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th gears and D3 in drive shifting through 1st 2nd and 3rd gears only. :)

well, all the pre-2007 ones have that, but the one we have which is an 08 model only has D3 and D and of course N, R and P

@mitch18291 Not nessicarily true, with recent upgrades produced by Acura/Honda Genuine parts I have been able to get 305HP out of my 2006 MDX Tourng.

I got 6.7 on my RDX and 6.5 on my rav-4 v6. my cousins 2007 MDX got 7.2.
