I study to become a make up artist and i was really looking for something helpful for Asian eyes and I must admit i found it.... Great job... Very helpfull tutorial... But I think you shouldn't make it so intense in the outer corner... (I just feel it drags your eyes way to far from your nose and... makes you look like you' re cross-eyed...) It's just my opionion... I'm still a student so I might of course be wrong... Thanks anyways for the tutorial... :)

Q: how do you prevent smearing of the eye pencil? Are you using a waterproof one? Only a waterproof gel or liquid liner won't smear for me but then I can't get that soft, smokey look.

Yes!... I finally found a helpful tutorial for eyes. Being Asian myself, it is SO hard to put on make up, especially eyeliner. My friends, the ones who have monolids, use the putty or glue stuff that makes them have double lids. I don't know why, but I just don't feel comfortable doing that, and doing make up naturally for a monolid is difficult! This has cleared up so many of my problems! Thanks!

I have the same problem, is like the upper lid gets so thick, and ends up falling above my eye, and it's a pain in the ass cause everytime i want to aply eyeliner, it smurs all over my big fat lid when i open my eyes

Anime, you have what's called a "hooded" eyelid. You can get it corrected with a very simple cosmetic surgery, or you could use eyelid tape which you can buy easily over the internet in order to keep the hooded part of your eyelid from falling.

great tutorial and I feel ya on the wimpy lashes- I always curl them first with a regular lash curler, apply mascara, then use a battery-heated curler, like from Sephora, it works wonders to keep my lashes curled for hours. Thanks!

I've read a few comments on here and for those of you who want bigger eyes and even those that want smaller eyes....it doesn't matter what eye size or shape you have. It's how you rock it, seriously. I've seen people with small eyes AND big eyes that are both gorgeous.

I think that a lot of people with small eyes are very pretty and cute too. You should have more confidence and accept your small eyes! (: A lot of my friends have small eyes and they are still cute. You just need the right look and makeup to go with it! And I don't like when people use glue because it just makes your appearance fake and at the end of the day, you will have to wash it off anyway. Be more natural. :3

get the urban decay eyeliner, it wont smudge and it's waterproof, i have it in black.
