  • @rhughes38 He is English. From Surrey supposedly. He put on the irish accent for Finians rainbow. Maybe he has family over here though.

  • @TheDiddlysquat Thanks for that! and he certainly did! We had no TV in SA for a long time, so didn't see anything of him later on, and I often wondered what had happened to him. Loved him to bits, so was very pleased to see all that had happened to and with him!

  • Oh... and the title of the album was "MY LIFE, MY SONG", and of course is quite difficult to find these days.

  • Tommy released an autobiographical album through PYE records in 1974. He wrote all the songs, and painted all the pictures in the booklet within it's gatefold sleeve. I thought it was superb, and deserves a digital reissue !
