@savedbyjesusblood WTF are you afraid of??? Death is a very comforting transition and you will feel very familiar when you go...so don't be such a baby and tell your kids the truth before you get thrown in jail for abuse. BTW, if your god is omnipotent, omniscient and forever then why don't you pray instead of taking your kids to the doctor. I mean if it weren't for a liberal atheist professor your doctor would not know anything about medicine ...so what will you do?
@JstNEarthling Death was passed onto us through Adam because Adam chose to rebel against God out of his own free will. Sin has consequences. If you understood the depths of the problem of the sin nature, you would understand why God doesn't always heal. In my weakness, I am more dependant on God. He works through weakness. A strong man doesn't need to rely on God. How many filthy rich people do you know that have God in their lives? Virtually none, if that.
@savedbyjesusblood My very point made by an ignorant christian who obviously just answered his own question as to the validity and compassion of his super hero. Your "loving" god specifically said "thou shalt not kill" and in the next chapter tells Joshuah to kill every living thing including children and women, the virgins you may keep to wed..... all paraphrased of course.
@JstNEarthling Parents are accountable for the spiritual wellbeing of their children. If a parent deceides to raise their child as an atheist, with no regard for the things of God, or as a satanist, that parent is bringing judgment down on the child. God destroyed wicked nations who were a threat to the seed of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World. Israel was severly punished when they went wayward too. If the Saviour had not been born we would have no hope of salvation.
@irclaw42 So, because you're too stupid to actually understand the scientific principle or simple computation and observation. Because you are too stupid or lazy to get these simple ideas you think your magic sky daddy created everything......well, that ought to save you from thinking too much, good job knucklehead.
@SeaWolfe59 Well yes, man does look for a reason for his existence, but this does not prove whether a god exists or not (just because we want something, doesnt mean it's there). And again you have proved my own point that christianity is just another line in gods man wants to worship.
@SeaWolfe59 Many people say both sides should be taught, this is something I feel strongly about.
Evolution is the theory that shows how other animals have evolved into others, not the complete origin of life.
I have a 'prejudice' because religion doesn't bring us anything worthwhile. I'm sick of people saying they deserve to share their view on important subjects - they don't! I want to be open minded, but not so much that my brain falls out. Likewise I don't like this knowledge passed ontokids
@kly45 Exactly my friend I think the indoctrination of one's child into a cult should be prosecuted as child abuse.... All they're doing is dragging their kids to church and let some old guy way up above everyone yelling at you that you will burn in hell forever if blah blah blah... torture for a child...
@SeaWolfe59 teaching both sides of fact is not the purpose of a public school though. If you're going to say you want both sides of a story then you must surely give alternative views from all other religions too? it's only fair. Why teach 'both sides' to a child? A child should be taught on what IS established as fact and if they feel the need to investigate any problems with the theory they can get their ideas torn apart at university once they have good knowledge.
@kly45 There's no such thing as "both sides of a fact". A fact is A (singular) fact (singular). There is only the truth and the non truth....in a fact.
@SeaWolfe59 2. i am not accusing you of anything, it's clear that religion is based on three factors - upbringing, geographical and historical convenience. This is also cleared up by the thor point. You only say they are mythical creations NOW. If you look at history, mankind has just worshiped more and more sophisticated ideas of a God.
4. If you think christianity makes the most sense, do you believe in witches and wizards? That homosexuality is an 'abomination'? That's what the bible says
How is going from polytheism to monotheism more sophisticated?
Do I believe that witches/wizards exist? I believe there are people that are involved in the occult and I believe there is dark power in that endeavor. There is evidence of this for those that wish to open their eyes.
Do I believe homosexuality is an "abomination"? I believe choosing to engage in homosexual acts is against God's natural law and is therefore sin. I also believe we ALL sin and need forgiveness.
@SeaWolfe59 There isn't any sophistication, it's siimply just how things have happened. Think of all the past gods there have been - years from now, we will have moved on from Christianity, Judiasm etc.
Can you clarify, do you believe in ACTUAL wizards and witches, walking around causing spells.
Is that a fact? Well just shows how much you know, perhaps you should look up "homosexuality in animals" That natural enough for ya?
"...worshiped more and more sophisticated ideas of a God."
I believe Christianity is here to stay. It is, in fact, increasing now.
Atheism will never meet the spiritual hope people deeply need.
Wizard: never met one.
Witch: I met a woman that said she was a witch in the practice of wicca. I went the other way. I steer clear of this. I believe there is an evil force in this world. We witness it every day. You cannot deny evil exists.
Uncomfortable with...evil influence, the occult. I set my sights on the Source of us all. Why focus on such negative, dark influences when I can look into the light of hope? I choose to focus on the positive.
@SeaWolfe59 But christianity as well as the rest of the so called main stream religions is a cult or did you lose your dictionary? And I ask again, just which god do you believe in? Not only that but I'm willing to place a PayPal bet with you that you can not get 5 accredited scientists to say they believe in magic. Or I mean miracles isn't it? Well where I'm from we call creating whole universes in days..... magic whatever one believes, it's called magic.
I believe in the only God that exists. The tri-une God. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All other gods are men's inventions to fill the void in their hearts.
Let me ask you something, why are you so bent on arguing and spreading the belief that there is nothing beyond the grave? What is it in you that generates such determination? And what do you care about my belief system? How does my personal belief affect your personal life? And why do you seem to have such anger?
@SeaWolfe59 Apparently you did not realize my question was almost a direct quote that you had ask someone else. I'm here to discuss why people like you force religion down other people's throats and then claim they did no such thing.
@SeaWolfe59 What a fucking liar....hahahahaha...."I'm trying to learn something" BULLSHIT you whole reason for being here is to try to convince us that you're a delusional schizophrenic....Your job is done... I know you're a delusional......hahahahahaha you christians crack me up you actually worship a super hero and believe the world can flood in 40 days and nights of rain...hahahaha..and Mary, at 12 and virgin gave birth to a god.....whoop whoop
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you the best of health and prosperity in the coming new year my friend. Peace and joy to you and your family. :)
@JstNEarthling And people like you believe that a meteor hit the earth at 25,000mph and a massive piece broke off (let's ignore the scientific fact that the core of the earth is molten lava) and somehow became perfectly round and started to make an orbit around the earth. At least that's what heathen National Geograph teaches. Yes. You atheists would crack me up too if it wasn't so sad you believe this stuff.
@SeaWolfe59 "Atheism will never meet the spiritual hope people deeply need." "All other gods are men's inventions to fill the void in their hearts." Both of these are militant and aggressive.
In your humble opinion...right? Have you ever travelled to the middle east? If not, you should go so you can see what its like to have religion militantly forced upon you. In this arena, I am simply expressing my beliefs, my views. No one is forced to read what I write, believe what I write, or respond to what I write. And the owner of this page is actually allowed to censor me if he wishes...something mentioned once already.
@SeaWolfe59 I've already shown how aggressive you're being, apparently you can't see that. And no, I would not censor you. As much as I detest religion, you and I are both protected under the Constitution to practice and speak about any religion, or lack of religion, that we want to.
No, you really havent. Its just your personal opinion. Nothing more. Whats aggressive to one can be mild mannered to another. One thing you should consider is that emotion cannot be clearly conveyed in this type of forum. Im sure if I spoke to you directly you would come to a different conclusion.
@DocMcFluhry I meant thumbs up.... not only are they militant and aggressive but they're untrue and an ignorant representation of what atheism isn't...or is....hahahaha
@SeaWolfe59 Because you think and say to children even this kind of bullshit.......I believe in the only God that exists. The tri-une God. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All other gods are men's inventions to fill the void in their hearts. Now what the hell does "void in one's heart" mean? You freaks make that shit up to sound spiritual. Don't you get it....no you don't get it....I do not want need nor feel the desire to be give or want spirituallity....takes too much energy
@SeaWolfe59 More senseless comments from the peanut gallery "I believe in 1 count 'em 1 god the TRI(3)UNE GOD.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....christians are the goofiest frickin people. They even take the "do not eat from the tree of KNOWLEDGE) so your god can keep you stupid and docile like his pets... I however know for a fact that this senario is not just impossible it's really stupid in this day and age to think that magic is the answer to everything and you have you own super hero. sheesh
I feel for you sir. You are so very antagonistic toward your maker. You see Him as an enemy. You mock Him. You degrade Him. You judge Him from a position of brutish arrogance and ignorance. God have mercy on you sir...for you do not seem to know what youre doing...or what the result of your actions may be. I PRAY that God will help you to see the truth. In the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
You dont believe in God, but He still believes in you, sir.
@SeaWolfe59 ONE MORE TIME... atheist is a word to describe those who are free thinking human beings who do not have a cluttered brain full of cults and their dogma... it is not and never has tried to have any answers to anything, rather it is you who are unhappy and uncomfortable with your life and behavior. It is you and yours who profess to say their jesus and god are loving and peaceful while threatening everyone with eternal fire and damnation..you are the most confused lot in history.
My friend, we are not animals. We are human beings fully capable of reason and free will to choose our actions with an understanding of outcomes and consequences. We are a special creation above those other creatures. If you want to refer to the animal kingdom as a guide for how you should behave, I can point to other behaviors that animals engage in that are quite repugnant. A couple of examples: eating feces, killing and eating their young. There are plenty more.
@SeaWolfe59 Well, that's clearly rubbish isn't it? We ARE by definition animals - maybe you should've payed more attention in that biology class. For a start the 'eating feces' thing is wrong, animals do not eat feces, many animals use their mouth the same way we use our hands. It's how they learn what it is. Also it helps them identify what other animal made it - I have a dog. Eating their young? The only animals I have heard do this are mice, hamsters etc. An animal only does this if it knows
that there is not enough food to allow it's young to survive. In fact, the point that animals don't eat their children out of cold blood is an argument against gods existence. Animals don't acknowledge god yet they have a moral code don't they? A piranha won't eat another while no one's looking? Being good to your fellow human is a way of preserving society the way it is. No good or evil. No moral compass. Frankly though this argument is over, you can dress me up as ...
@SeaWolfe59 We act on instinct and learned behaviour. Why do you think you feel hungry? You have made statements that I am ignorant of you - please look back at your comments. I don't respect you much like a teacher of a class won't answer a boy who is constantly making fart noises and shouting out irrelevant subjects. We are animals by definition, which is widely accepted by the rest of humanity. This is like saying 'this flower is not a plant, because I say so'
@SeaWolfe59 Animals act on instinct...programming...and learned behavior. hahahaha..and you don't? Now, that's just plain stupid. At first while reading your rambling lies I thought you were just a deluded chrisian like the rest, but you're the kind who puts his kids on the street with signs about hating fags etc. How long's it been since you were at westboro?
as being 'ignorant' but I choose not to have an argument with someone who believes there are witches and wizards and someone that calls me ignorant and that I don't respect my fellow man, when you clearly say something like homosexuality is wrong. Durrr see the irony dumb dumb???!! Your 'god' has questionable morals - watch youtube(dot)com/watch?v=XrsQPRk9OOU&feature=related parts 1 and 2 (replace the (dot) with a .) watch it and then tell me how you can take a
@kly45 . SeaWolfe is just another blowhard christian, like westboro church members, has no moral compass by his own admission, as in no deity no morals according to chritians, therefore they have to "borrow" their morals I guess, anyway that's how I read it. You can always gage a christians christianity by asking them to read Leviticus and give a book report and see if it's taken "out of context" as they love to bitch about.
@SeaWolfe59 ...such a fucking high ground and unwarranted self-importance. You sir, are a dilluded fool - that lives in fear and will waste your one life. You also sicken me. You can say how ignorant I am yet have a prejudice against gays because 'god said it in an ancient book edited millions of times for kings written by people stupider than people today a durr and thats proof for enough for me!! a derp derp derp'. I respect my fellow man, but I do not respect a moron like you.
Im surely not self-important. I am no better than you. There is no delusion here about who I am.
I dont live in fear. I live in hope. And this life is but a dream. A very fast event that will pass into eternity. What do I care for this short life? Of course, I will contribute and help to improve our situation as best as I can. But live is so short.
I have no prejudice against gays. Ive already explained myself in that regard. Take it or leave it.
@SeaWolfe59 So if you have a daughter and she's about to get married, you find out she is not a virgin, you like Leviticus so much will you do as you're told?? Will you ask the town to choose stones and kill her at your door as is ordered in the bible??
@SeaWolfe59 See, there you go right there lying while you swear to it so help you your god....tell me, wolfie what do you consider a sin and do you follow the so called literal written word of god according to the apostles and prophets? Will you punish the way you're ordered to in your bible from your god? If your brother tells you he is an atheist will you gather stones with your neighbors and set out to stone him to death for blaspheming your lord??? Will you stone your daughter if she..HUH?
Before people knew how "biology" worked didn't it seem like magic? Go back before your teachers knew what to teach you. It seemed like magic then. Humans figuring out how life works doesn't disprove that a god made it.
@Billyerpothead You have no idea what you're saying do you? Just because one is too ignorant to understand straight forward science, one can not then assume the supernatural superhero sky daddy is in existence either...in other words just because one does not understand science it doesn't assume there is a god...
3. Creationism has no rules because its magic? Youre mistaken. Its not magic and there certainly are rules. Rules that provide stability and strength for any society that is willing to embrace the teachings of Christ.
4. You seem to have the mindset that your way is the right way and anyone that disagrees with you, including impressionable students in a public school, are to be treated as ignorant fools that need the truth - at least your version of it.
@SeaWolfe59 So you certainly have a lot of questions about your bible because all of those questions a=have been asked and answered and I'm not a one trick pony.
If you believe there is a single supreme being that created everything in 6 days, because on the sabbath he rested remember? Then as you spout off about science saying "we can make something from nothing"" when it is only you christians who use that phrase as some kind of an attack and all it really shows is you lack of intellect.
@SeaWolfe59 So you've done "casework" in evolutionary biology? I bet your professors are so proud of you now after that beautifully written bullshit. I mean the way you used so many words and everything, did those words actually have a definition? Oh one more thing, there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE for a magician who magically created everything in 6 days....POOF Voila' only creationists believe in intelligent design either, all it is is a new name for creationism...scared?
Since you have a strong prejudice against those that believe like me and since you have all the answers, tell me the processes that created the Universe. Explain in detail how all this came about. You can spout arrogance...lets see where that arrogance is founded.
And to ask me if Im "scared"? You have issues with anger, prejudice and hatred. You should consider counselling.
@SeaWolfe59 He doesn't HAVE to know how the universe was created. It's actually pretty arrogant and lazy to say "well, I don't know what made the universe, so God must have made it". Science doesn't claim it has ALL answers, it's method is to try and find the answers. Before we knew what made the sunrise, we said it was 'god'. Now we know it wasn't. So just because we don't know something now doesn't mean we can validly say it was magic.
No. Its not arrogant or lazy. Its a matter of faith in my Creator...my God whom I owe my life to.
Youre right, science does not have all the answers...and it NEVER will. If you believe it will then you have established a faith in science.
God IS responsible for the "sunrise". He designed the gravitational force needed to make this earth behave as it does in space. Just because we better understand the picture doesnt mean God didnt create it all. Btw, can you explain how gravity works?
@SeaWolfe59 It is arrogant & lazy. It's not finding a proper answer in anything, if everyone were like you there'd be no modern medicine. I used to pray before school exams to help me pass, but then I thought, well that's discrediting my own ability is it not? I'm my own person and I don't need someone to bend the future in my favor because I said they were so amazing. One pair of hands working is more effective than 1 million clasped together in prayer.
I could say the same for those that selfishly exclude God from the picture.
Science and God are not mutally exclusive. Science is simply the process of learning and explaining the design of the universe. Its a TOOL used to predict how a system will behave under various influences. Im an engineer and use this tool all the time.
If I prayed about exams, it was to ask God to help me retain what I had studied. However, it is my responsibility to do the necessary work to achieve the grade.
@SeaWolfe59 Science never claims to have all the answers, it's simply a method for people who are unsatisfied by fairytales and want to know the real answers. There is as much proof a God caused the sunrise as there is that a magical teapot orbits the sun. I just told you no one has to explain how gravity works to be valid. It makes no sense that you can hit out with that and then say 'well then must be god' - that is a invalid argument. Can you explain how gravity works without mentioning god?
Christopher Hitche is convinced science will eventually explain all. True faith.
I think creation itself is massive evidence of God. But, belief in God is not just a matter of physical proof. Its a matter of faith. And faith is increased by serving one's community...helping the poor, the widows, etc. (Luke 17:5-10)
I cant completely explain gravity. But I dont need to. Remember, you said I can just say God did it. YOU claim you dont need God to understand these things. So, explain it.
@SeaWolfe59 He is not talking about religion and faith you idiot. He's talking about the scientific principle and how we will use it to achieve incredible things that if seen by a Bedoin 2000 years ago they would have written a book about that...oh wait, the bible is a chronicle of Spacecraft visitation and with their stupidstitious minds, they easily assumed they must be gods.
Is there an important reason that you must call me "idiot"? What is your goal in using the term?
We already have achieved incredible things through science. Are we happier humans for it? Or more afraid than ever of self-inflicted destruction/annihilation? Or are we more divided and divisive? More hateful? More envious? More angry?
Do you really believe the bible is a chronicle of spacecraft visitation sir? Or is that just more sarcasm?
I can explain a number of facts about O2. What does that have to do with my belief in a powerful universal creator?
The remainder of your post continues to demonstrate your lack of respect for your fellow man. Your words mock and ridicule what I believe and have my hope based in. Do you always mock those you disagree with? I have not mocked or ridiculed you in any way nor will I. You are a fellow human being and deserve a respectful tone from me.
@SeaWolfe59 Why do you think that I'm mocking you? I'm simply challenging your faith. Are you trying to say that I have no respect for my fellow man because of that? Isn't that kinda making a straw man? Besides are you implying that someone that does believe in this unprovable being I mentioned is wrong? I think you'll find that's called 'double standards'. I do respect humanity because I want to use objective knowledge to help people - not blackmail them into believing they'll burn in hell
My friend, the words and phrases you use can only lead me to conclude your contempt and ridicule for my faith. Examples:
"invisible cow that floats in space"
"magical teapot orbits the sun" Come on. These expressions are not necessary for a serious intellectual conversation about the existence of God. They only reveal your disrespect. I would not treat you the same way - even if I were proven totally right in my belief.
@SeaWolfe59 Yes that IS a double standard. If you consider your unprovable god to be more 'realistic' than my unprovable examples, then that is, indeed the definition of a double standard. Again it's not disrespect, simply arguments against believe. And how are these not intellectual? Have you heard of Russell's teapot? By the well known philosopher Bertrand Russell? Intellectual enough for you now? What about the invisible pink unicorn?
My friend, in case you havent realized it, this argument will arrive at stalemate. You know that and I know that. You cannot physically prove whatever idea you have about how this (very entropic) Universe came about and I cannot physically prove to you the existence of an intelligent Creator that is seated in a spiritual realm...a realm we cannot physically see.
Have you ever tried to seek God/Jesus at all? I have lived your way already. Its no longer for me.
@SeaWolfe59 So, you do get the innuendo, hint, ridicule, sarcasm, but you're just too stupid to come up with a real answer.
Notice now I have not ejected you from my channel....I want everyone to see the caliber of our "christian" youth so one can make an informed decision whether to think they should take a child to church and "let them choose". That is child abuse you know the child is being indoctrinated before your very eyes
"Stupid" again. Clearly youre not willing to show respect for someone you disagree with. But I think my point is not lost on Kly45. We can have a respectful and considerate discussion, no problem. But when the insults and mocking start, is it practical to discuss anything?
Exactly why would you eject me? Because you dont want to see a viewpoint that you so deeply disagree with? I dont agree with you but I still have the tolerance to see what you have to say.
more...I figured that this issue of "child abuse" was on the horizon.
All children are indocrinated in different ways. Im sure if you raised your children to be staunch atheists that would also easily be construed as "indoctrination". There is no getting around it. So, what shall we do? No discussions of our origins before age 18 for all children? How does this work in your universe exactly?
@SeaWolfe59 Weel ,this is my video and my channel and when one comes in here one must expect ridicule if one believes in the ridiculous."Talking snakes" "900 year old people" water in the heaven until god tore it asunder and the torrent was upon the face of the Earth and they were drowned but for Noah and his family, mankind is destroyed" "I was living in the belly of a giant fish for 3 days until it spit me out" "Don't eat of the tree of "KNOWLEDGE" "circumcize all men" Yep, you're a nut
Come on, your post is ridiculous, sir. Its rather childish dont you think?
And if you think Im upset, Im not at all. Far from it. Im just doing my best to understand the real source of your anger and outrage. I can separate you as a human being from your actions. And hey, Ive seen all this before many times. Nothing new.
@SeaWolfe59 if you were so well read and educated you would have known this is an oxymoron if anything : Creationism has no rules because its magic?Youre mistaken. Its not magic and there certainly are rules. Rules that provide stability and strength for any society that is willing to embrace the teachings of Christ.
Wrong! Creationism has nothing to do with a different myth of the messiah and the christ myth, but first book, genesis A god creating everything in 7 days is magic PERIOD
Sir, I dont know how long it took to create all that we see. I dont think God is subject to this idea called "time" so maybe time isnt a factor at all. Or maybe the word translated to day should have been translated to era, epoch or interval with each of these intervals equalling about 750 million years of our "time". Who knows. It doesnt matter to me. I dont dwell on such things. Neither you or I can prove otherwise. We dont have a time machine.
6. What about my other comments regarding this "teacher"? If you were a parent and you wanted to raise your children a certain way, would you be offended by someone like this man...a man that arrogantly decided whats best for their children? What of the parent's rights?
7. The fool says in his heart, There is no God". Psalm 14:1.
@SeaWolfe59 6. I would rather have a teacher to tell my children facts rather than 'tell both sides' crap. You're only a christian because that's how you were raised, how can you expect it to be correct for that reason alone? My children are their own people, not my slaves, I don't want them 'raised a certain way'
7. This is not an argument. You are quoting a book that has been edited numerous times based on scriptures by people more gullible than we are. Also a book that contradicts itself.
1. Facts...or theories? Either way, this man crosses the line with his view. The state CAN'T force anti-religious views on students. Schools are there to educate kids so they can go on to be productive. This man is a tyrant.
2. Now you create a strawman in my place. I was NOT raised to be Christian. I chose this as a 30 year-old informed, educated adult. And I continue to do my best to keep choosing it.
@SeaWolfe59 1. Theories in the scientific sense hold a different definition than normal theories. A theory in science is the most any finding can come to, one that is argued against and wins. Therefore a fact. Would you have scientists teach evolution in sunday school as an alternative?
2. It doesn't matter whether you were born one or not, its still down to geographical convenience, why not worship Thor or Zeus?
3. Thank you
4. What that your god out of all the other gods is right? really?
1. Just as God cant be physically proven to be who Christianity says He is, science cannot absolutely prove that the Laws it has established are universal. We have not tested those Laws on a planet 20 light-years away so we, as scientists, (yes, I am a person of science), dont have universal proof. And that goes for both space and time. So, those Laws are not undisputable "fact".
I restate my prior point. Science is a TOOL. Not something needed to replace "fairy tales".
@SeaWolfe59 science is a tool to help understand the universe, because people chose not to conform to a book that has been edited multiple times and contradicts itself.
So, I learned all this science just to dispute the bible? No. Myself and a number of Christian friends have scientific backgrounds. Scienctific knowledge doesnt hinder our belief, it compliments. And you can cite old talking points like Galileo but truly, your view doesnt hold much water these days. There are too many examples to the contrary. As Ive already said, science is a tool to explain the workings of God's universe. You want to make this as science versus God. I dont buy that.
@SeaWolfe59 Well done, Galileo died some 200 years before 'on the origin of species' was published. I could also cite the fact of how he was in a time when the Catholics controlled everything - see Galileo v Catholicism in google. And as I am saying, we don't need to have god until we have reasonable evidence to support his existence, nevermind the christian god - who has questionable morals and intelligence to say the least...
I am Catholic. And I believe the human leadership of the church was out of line for its arrogant authoritarianism. But, humans are involved and so all the ugly habits are able to get through. Im sure you realize that we are very corruptable and flawed beings. (Why are we?)
As for waiting till more evidence is in about God, I personally dont need any more. The evidence is in my life, in my heart, and in my mind. I am no island. I am part of Creation and made for relationship with God.
@SeaWolfe59 Now you've done it you piece of shit. If you're telling me that you actually chose catholicism as an adult and when you have children, if you don't already, you're going to indoctrinate them also.? Do you even know who I am?? Talk about the straw that broke the camels back, you opened your flappin gums and began to proselytize. I let it go because you are alone and my friends are very good at giving you the heads up. But you CHOSE to be fucked in the butt as an adult. sick shit
Its incredible how you treat me. Its ok. Something pretty serious must have happened in your past sir.
Im curious, what makes you think I have children?
Do I know who you are? A little. Youre an anonymous youtuber. Youre a fellow human being. Youre very anti-Christian. Other than that, I dont know who you are. Is there something about you that should concern me?
@SeaWolfe59 You see there we have been saying that from the very beginning of time, that science is and always has been a tool and nothing more. I don't know one scientists who goes to any church for worshiping science. The purpose of science is to answer the question of the physical nature of the universe and not a path through one's lifetime.....that's stupid just to think so.
Working in the engineering community, I know many scientists and engineers that go to church and are strong Christians. And their spiritual take is that science reveals the mechanics, the intricate workings, of creation. On a practical day-to-day level, we see it as a tool we need to accomplish the tasks given to us as engineers and researchers.
And why not dispense with the degrading remarks. Saying something is stupid, or mocking another person's belief, is never productive.
@SeaWolfe59 So, you chose to believe in a magician in heaven that created everything in this vast universe in 7 days and that this Earth is only 6000 years old and a man can live in a fish for 3 days etc.....you chose to follow these and all the other childish tenets as an ADULT??? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha You and Obama can have your new magician in the sky I'm teaching my grandson reality..
I have chosen to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, sir. The One that will, in the end, be the bridge over my own corrupt nature.
Surely you will agree with me that its only fair, then, to call it what it is for your grandson: atheistic indocrination. At least be fair and honest about the terminology if youre going to make that claim about children in church.
Can I ask, seriously, why are you so angry? What does it matter to you that there are Christian believers?
1. Wrong! The judge did not find against the teacher for "blaspemy". The teacher was guilty of violating the students rights. The concept of "separation of church and state" does not allow the state to condemn any religion. This teacher violated that idea. So, your statement about blasphemy is RIDICULOUS and very prejudiced!
2. Who are you to tell any student to throw out their beliefs? That undermines a parents authority and religious teaching in their children's lives. You have no right!
@SeaWolfe59 Their teacher.....especially when it comes to my immediate family. My grandson was intelligent enough to tell his grandma when she wanted to take him to church, he asked her, "You really believe those tales grandma?" "Is the priest going to tell me about hell and stuff?" "She told him , probably and Joey said I don't want to go there that's not right to threaten kids with that stuff" I was never more proud as a grandfather and an educator.
Had you influenced your grandson to challenge church teachings before that moment?
I dont think its wise to scare children in that way. Believing in God should not be based in great fear. It should be based, first and foremost, in an understanding that God is Love.
Hell: hell is separation from God. And God is the source of ALL order, peace, joy, etc. Therefore, anything outside His domain is only chaos.
@SeaWolfe59 One thing I will not tolerate is your nasty mouth or fingers saying anything about my family, me, fine but my family is off limits. Therefore it is time to rumble. Becaus where I come from religion is a fighting word, one because the bible says so and two, because I say so, that way you have no excuse for your ignorance. You are the idiot who, at your age tried to proselytize to my friends on my channel. I let it ride because everyone was doing great at ridiculing. cont.
@SeaWolfe59 Yes I influenced my grandson to think critically and logically as I've done since he could talk at 2 and read chapter books at 3 aand he therefore came to the innocent, therefore honest and rational, decision that god is a myth and religions are businesses that prey on ignorance....his words and they are some of the best I've heard from adults and children alike,
If you influenced your grandson regarding this matter then you have indoctrinated him with your belief system...a system in conflict with Christianity. There is no denying that fact. At least be honest. If you really believe children should not be influenced with regard to issues of our origins, if you believe children should be off limits in that regard, then do you have a right to influence him?
Also, you have interfered with his mother's right to raise him as she sees fit.
I dont know what you are responding to. And that post was a month ago.
The whole debate between us has sort of expired. I feel a little sorry...a little empathy for you sir. Ive seen some of your other videos and I have a better idea of how your life is. It seems that you are suffering and I am sorry to see that...sorry that you must experience that.
I wish you the best and will pray for you. Peace and comfort to you and your family. :)
@SeaWolfe59 And as to your fear of scaring children "that way"...Just what the hell do you think is going through a young child's mind when some old guy on a podium looks right down at them or at "Sunday school" glaring at them and threatening them with hell and damnation when they die etc.....Why do you christians not see the abuse there????
The image you paint is an extremely skewed, dilated view of reality in the church. Like something out of a hollywood movie. There may be cases of such, but they are not the norm at all. You construct, yet, another strawman to fit your purposes. The church, first and foremost, is to represent God's love for us.
You are a disgrace as a teacher. You have no right to enforce your view point on your students.

JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling Death was passed onto us through Adam because Adam chose to rebel against God out of his own free will. Sin has consequences. If you understood the depths of the problem of the sin nature, you would understand why God doesn't always heal. In my weakness, I am more dependant on God. He works through weakness. A strong man doesn't need to rely on God. How many filthy rich people do you know that have God in their lives? Virtually none, if that.
savedbyjesusblood 1 year ago
@savedbyjesusblood My very point made by an ignorant christian who obviously just answered his own question as to the validity and compassion of his super hero. Your "loving" god specifically said "thou shalt not kill" and in the next chapter tells Joshuah to kill every living thing including children and women, the virgins you may keep to wed..... all paraphrased of course.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling Parents are accountable for the spiritual wellbeing of their children. If a parent deceides to raise their child as an atheist, with no regard for the things of God, or as a satanist, that parent is bringing judgment down on the child. God destroyed wicked nations who were a threat to the seed of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World. Israel was severly punished when they went wayward too. If the Saviour had not been born we would have no hope of salvation.

@SeaWolfe59 Well yes, man does look for a reason for his existence, but this does not prove whether a god exists or not (just because we want something, doesnt mean it's there). And again you have proved my own point that christianity is just another line in gods man wants to worship.
kly45 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Many people say both sides should be taught, this is something I feel strongly about.
Evolution is the theory that shows how other animals have evolved into others, not the complete origin of life.
I have a 'prejudice' because religion doesn't bring us anything worthwhile. I'm sick of people saying they deserve to share their view on important subjects - they don't! I want to be open minded, but not so much that my brain falls out. Likewise I don't like this knowledge passed ontokids
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45 Exactly my friend I think the indoctrination of one's child into a cult should be prosecuted as child abuse.... All they're doing is dragging their kids to church and let some old guy way up above everyone yelling at you that you will burn in hell forever if blah blah blah... torture for a child...
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 teaching both sides of fact is not the purpose of a public school though. If you're going to say you want both sides of a story then you must surely give alternative views from all other religions too? it's only fair. Why teach 'both sides' to a child? A child should be taught on what IS established as fact and if they feel the need to investigate any problems with the theory they can get their ideas torn apart at university once they have good knowledge.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45 There's no such thing as "both sides of a fact". A fact is A (singular) fact (singular). There is only the truth and the non truth....in a fact.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 2. i am not accusing you of anything, it's clear that religion is based on three factors - upbringing, geographical and historical convenience. This is also cleared up by the thor point. You only say they are mythical creations NOW. If you look at history, mankind has just worshiped more and more sophisticated ideas of a God.
4. If you think christianity makes the most sense, do you believe in witches and wizards? That homosexuality is an 'abomination'? That's what the bible says
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
more...
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 There isn't any sophistication, it's siimply just how things have happened. Think of all the past gods there have been - years from now, we will have moved on from Christianity, Judiasm etc.
Can you clarify, do you believe in ACTUAL wizards and witches, walking around causing spells.
Is that a fact? Well just shows how much you know, perhaps you should look up "homosexuality in animals" That natural enough for ya?
kly45 1 year ago

You said there was:
"...worshiped more and more sophisticated ideas of a God."
I believe Christianity is here to stay. It is, in fact, increasing now.
Atheism will never meet the spiritual hope people deeply need.
Wizard: never met one.
Witch: I met a woman that said she was a witch in the practice of wicca. I went the other way. I steer clear of this. I believe there is an evil force in this world. We witness it every day. You cannot deny evil exists.

@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Well, that's clearly rubbish isn't it? We ARE by definition animals - maybe you should've payed more attention in that biology class. For a start the 'eating feces' thing is wrong, animals do not eat feces, many animals use their mouth the same way we use our hands. It's how they learn what it is. Also it helps them identify what other animal made it - I have a dog. Eating their young? The only animals I have heard do this are mice, hamsters etc. An animal only does this if it knows
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
Animals...by who's definition? Biological science? Youre using references from biology to prove references from biology. Circular.
I say we are spirits occupying a body. Yes, we have animal-like organs. But we are not animals intellectually and spiritually.
Animals do eat feces: watch?v=3nm2n8QiGzg

that there is not enough food to allow it's young to survive. In fact, the point that animals don't eat their children out of cold blood is an argument against gods existence. 1. Im not ignorant nor fool. Im well-educated in the sciences and have taken coursework in evolutionary biology.
2. The scientific method demands repeatability in order to prove a theory. When has macroevolution been proven in a laboratory setting?
3. Do you believe man descended from...microbes...or...nothing?
4. If everything we see on earth is a product of evolution, where did the Universe come from?
5. What about the existing evidence that this world was created by an intelligent power?
SeaWolfe59 2 years ago
@SeaWolfe59 So you certainly have a lot of questions about your bible because all of those questions a=have been asked and answered and I'm not a one trick pony.
If you believe there is a single supreme being that created everything in 6 days, because on the sabbath he rested remember? Then as you spout off about science saying "we can make something from nothing"" when it is only you christians who use that phrase as some kind of an attack and all it really shows is you lack of intellect.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 So you've done "casework" in evolutionary biology? I bet your professors are so proud of you now after that beautifully written bullshit. I mean the way you used so many words and everything, did those words actually have a definition? Oh one more thing, there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE for a magician who magically created everything in 6 days....POOF Voila' only creationists believe in intelligent design either, all it is is a new name for creationism...scared?
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
I posted that 9 months ago. But thats ok.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 He doesn't HAVE to know how the universe was created. It's actually pretty arrogant and lazy to say "well, I don't know what made the universe, so God must have made it". Science doesn't claim it has ALL answers, it's method is to try and find the answers. Before we knew what made the sunrise, we said it was 'god'. Now we know it wasn't. So just because we don't know something now doesn't mean we can validly say it was magic.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 It is arrogant & lazy. It's not finding a proper answer in anything, if everyone were like you there'd be no modern medicine. I used to pray before school exams to help me pass, but then I thought, well that's discrediting my own ability is it not? I'm my own person and I don't need someone to bend the future in my favor because I said they were so amazing. One pair of hands working is more effective than 1 million clasped together in prayer.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Science never claims to have all the answers, it's simply a method for people who are unsatisfied by fairytales and want to know the real answers. There is as much proof a God caused the sunrise as there is that a magical teapot orbits the sun. I just told you no one has to explain how gravity works to be valid. It makes no sense that you can hit out with that and then say 'well then must be god' - that is a invalid argument. Can you explain how gravity works without mentioning god?
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45

JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Can you explain how oxygen works? No fine then it must have been an invisible cow that floats in space.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Why do you think that I'm mocking you? I'm simply challenging your faith. Are you trying to say that I have no respect for my fellow man because of that? Isn't that kinda making a straw man? Besides are you implying that someone that does believe in this unprovable being I mentioned is wrong? I think you'll find that's called 'double standards'. I do respect humanity because I want to use objective knowledge to help people - not blackmail them into believing they'll burn in hell
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
No strawman.
No double standard.
No blackmail, EVER.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Yes that IS a double standard. If you consider your unprovable god to be more 'realistic' than my unprovable examples, then that is, indeed the definition of a double standard. Again it's not disrespect, simply arguments against believe. And how are these not intellectual? Have you heard of Russell's teapot? By the well known philosopher Bertrand Russell? Intellectual enough for you now? What about the invisible pink unicorn?
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 So, you do get the innuendo, hint, ridicule, sarcasm, but you're just too stupid to come up with a real answer.
Notice now I have not ejected you from my channel....I want everyone to see the caliber of our "christian" youth so one can make an informed decision whether to think they should take a child to church and "let them choose". That is child abuse you know the child is being indoctrinated before your very eyes
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling

SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
more...I figured that this issue of "child abuse" was on the horizon.
All children are indocrinated in different ways. Im sure if you raised your children to be staunch atheists that would also easily be construed as "indoctrination". There is no getting around it. So, what shall we do? No discussions of our origins before age 18 for all children? How does this work in your universe exactly?
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Weel ,this is my video and my channel and when one comes in here one must expect ridicule if one believes in the ridiculous."Talking snakes" "900 year old people" water in the heaven until god tore it asunder and the torrent was upon the face of the Earth and they were drowned but for Noah and his family, mankind is destroyed" "I was living in the belly of a giant fish for 3 days until it spit me out" "Don't eat of the tree of "KNOWLEDGE" "circumcize all men" Yep, you're a nut
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah "He's mocking and ridiculing my faith mommy"! "That's ridiculous"
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 if you were so well read and educated you would have known this is an oxymoron if anything : Creationism has no rules because its magic?Youre mistaken. Its not magic and there certainly are rules. Rules that provide stability and strength for any society that is willing to embrace the teachings of Christ.
Wrong! Creationism has nothing to do with a different myth of the messiah and the christ myth, but first book, genesis A god creating everything in 7 days is magic PERIOD
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
6. What about my other comments regarding this "teacher"? If you were a parent and you wanted to raise your children a certain way, would you be offended by someone like this man...a man that arrogantly decided whats best for their children? What of the parent's rights?
7. The fool says in his heart, There is no God". Psalm 14:1.
SeaWolfe59 2 years ago
@SeaWolfe59 6. I would rather have a teacher to tell my children facts rather than 'tell both sides' crap. You're only a christian because that's how you were raised, how can you expect it to be correct for that reason alone? My children are their own people, not my slaves, I don't want them 'raised a certain way'
7. This is not an argument. You are quoting a book that has been edited numerous times based on scriptures by people more gullible than we are. Also a book that contradicts itself.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
3. Not an argument, youre right. Just a quote.
4. We will ALL see in the end.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 1. Theories in the scientific sense hold a different definition than normal theories. A theory in science is the most any finding can come to, one that is argued against and wins. Therefore a fact. Would you have scientists teach evolution in sunday school as an alternative?
2. It doesn't matter whether you were born one or not, its still down to geographical convenience, why not worship Thor or Zeus?
3. Thank you
4. What that your god out of all the other gods is right? really?
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
Not something needed to replace "fairy tales".
more...
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 science is a tool to help understand the universe, because people chose not to conform to a book that has been edited multiple times and contradicts itself.
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Well done, Galileo died some 200 years before 'on the origin of species' was published. I could also cite the fact of how he was in a time when the Catholics controlled everything - see Galileo v Catholicism in google. And as I am saying, we don't need to have god until we have reasonable evidence to support his existence, nevermind the christian god - who has questionable morals and intelligence to say the least...
kly45 1 year ago
@kly45
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Now you've done it you piece of shit. If you're telling me that you actually chose catholicism as an adult and when you have children, if you don't already, you're going to indoctrinate them also.? Do you even know who I am?? Talk about the straw that broke the camels back, you opened your flappin gums and began to proselytize. I let it go because you are alone and my friends are very good at giving you the heads up. But you CHOSE to be fucked in the butt as an adult. sick shit
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
"my friends..." so is Kly45 your friend?
The remainder. Wow. Thats really out of line sir.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 You see there we have been saying that from the very beginning of time, that science is and always has been a tool and nothing more. I don't know one scientists who goes to any church for worshiping science. The purpose of science is to answer the question of the physical nature of the universe and not a path through one's lifetime.....that's stupid just to think so.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 So, you chose to believe in a magician in heaven that created everything in this vast universe in 7 days and that this Earth is only 6000 years old and a man can live in a fish for 3 days etc.....you chose to follow these and all the other childish tenets as an ADULT??? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha You and Obama can have your new magician in the sky I'm teaching my grandson reality..
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
SeaWolfe59 2 years ago
@SeaWolfe59 Their teacher.....especially when it comes to my immediate family. My grandson was intelligent enough to tell his grandma when she wanted to take him to church, he asked her, "You really believe those tales grandma?" "Is the priest going to tell me about hell and stuff?" "She told him , probably and Joey said I don't want to go there that's not right to threaten kids with that stuff" I was never more proud as a grandfather and an educator.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
So did she take him to church anyway?
Had you influenced your grandson to challenge church teachings before that moment?
I dont think its wise to scare children in that way. Believing in God should not be based in great fear. It should be based, first and foremost, in an understanding that God is Love.
Hell: hell is separation from God. And God is the source of ALL order, peace, joy, etc. Therefore, anything outside His domain is only chaos.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 One thing I will not tolerate is your nasty mouth or fingers saying anything about my family, me, fine but my family is off limits. Therefore it is time to rumble. Becaus where I come from religion is a fighting word, one because the bible says so and two, because I say so, that way you have no excuse for your ignorance. You are the idiot who, at your age tried to proselytize to my friends on my channel. I let it ride because everyone was doing great at ridiculing. cont.
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 Yes I influenced my grandson to think critically and logically as I've done since he could talk at 2 and read chapter books at 3 aand he therefore came to the innocent, therefore honest and rational, decision that god is a myth and religions are businesses that prey on ignorance....his words and they are some of the best I've heard from adults and children alike,
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 who the hell are you talking to?????????

@JstNEarthling
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
@SeaWolfe59 And as to your fear of scaring children "that way"...Just what the hell do you think is going through a young child's mind when some old guy on a podium looks right down at them or at "Sunday school" glaring at them and threatening them with hell and damnation when they die etc.....Why do you christians not see the abuse there????
JstNEarthling 1 year ago
@JstNEarthling
The image you paint is an extremely skewed, dilated view of reality in the church. Like something out of a hollywood movie. There may be cases of such, but they are not the norm at all. You construct, yet, another strawman to fit your purposes. The church, first and foremost, is to represent God's love for us.
SeaWolfe59 1 year ago
