Dragons are mythical creatures. Therefore, they can look like whatever the hell the artist wants them to. There is no one template, so to speak, for the asthetic of a dragon. Dragons are depicted in almost every culture in the world, however, they almost never look the same. So if this guy says it's a dragon, then it's a dragon. Sorry about the rant, but I've been seeing comments on this video and others like it saying that this creature isn't a dragon because it's not the typical depiction.

@Thompson445 it doesn't really matter what tools you use to make a circle happen on a surface. I'd use warm cup of tea and spill over a bit, then put it on a piece of paper, let some of the tea drip off to create a perfect artistic Sirkel.

I think the best way to add color is to pick about 3-5 different color sets for you dragon seperating into scales membranes the such and then just using gray to sketch it all out then shift each set of grays into the respective color pallet. But that's just what I've been learning from my friend

@BigBobandFriends A Tablet enables you to draw like just with a pencil. If you are a good traditional artist already, it is easier to draw on tablet than on a mouse as it is COMPLETELY different thing to draw with a mouse.

Yes, but most Photoshop programs (anything cs4 and above) are pretty much all the same aside from the user interface. I'm quite content with my cs3 though. see my drawing vid, it's me drawing a friend of my in adobe cs3, you'll see they're similar.

it looks like its just a 1-3 pixel brush and I'm going to assume they are using size and opacity brush pressure settings. Also the opacity and flow may be dialed down a slight bit. But there are no 'exact settings' there's endless variations which can create similar effects.

you could do it with a mouse if you wanted to, there are mouses out there that will give you the acuracy you need for it, mainly some of the gameing mouses and a nice mouse pad, if your usto a mouse theres no reason you couldnt
