@11COMICNERD Technically speaking, you are doing something wrong. The wallmounted guns shooting at you is basically a sign that says: Don't try to be cute and fly over them. We're on to you. You're not supposed to fly over them. The fact that you need to for the achievement is just a terrible design for an otherwise awesome game.

after it automatically turns you around, just watch the video closely again and notice how he turns right back around when he gets turned around. Hope i helped and hope I explained it and wasn't confusing lol. Great video, it helped me out a lot. Thanks!

I was having the same problem like everyone else it wouldn't give me the achievement or I'd grapple back up. But I was doing it wrong! You have to do EXACTLY what he does it the video. The reason why batman grapples up is cause he gets to low and grapples up automatically. Jump off and fly straight towards the church and as soon as it turns you around turn around quickly and it will turn you around automatically again. The trick is as soon as it turns your around you have to turn around quickly

ThIf you go into detective mode, you can also see a Riddler question mark painted on the side of Wonder Tower. That is one of the Riddler solutions. And the tan map is the solution to "Where can you get a view of the past."

when you start gliding head for the direction of the closest security wall thats below you, when you try to cross over it thats when it automatically does that little u-turn flip that keeps you in the air longer

For those having trouble with bat claw.  Go up high as you can to start your glide. The bat claw pops when you get to low.

Probably because the xbox version held the ps3 back because the xbox disc has less memory and would require 2 discs if you were able to glide all the way down LOL. Not trying to be a fan boy but its the truth.

What did you press to make Batman "bounce up" like that?? I'm using the Xbox 360 & I've pressed every button and can't do what you did. I'm trying to get a trophy in The Bowery, SW of the subway, where he has to glide from one building to the other and back again, but I can't get it. I get to the same mark on the bldg whether I "pull up" or just press A. Diving only puts me lower, never higher, so I'm missing something. Please help!

@Angel4711 The "bounce up/U turn" is performed automatically anytime you reach the boundaries of the map. Try gliding past the boats in the bay near the Steel Mill and you'll get the same reaction.

I dislike the fact that you can't just glide freely over the entire Arkham City. The turning around in the air kind of takes away from the cool factor of being able to glide. You were allowed to glide freely in Arkham Asylum :/

@neyo509 it's not a move it's something that happens when you reach the wall that seperates the restricted area from arkham city. so you can't glide right down to the playable streets from the wonder tower.

It's really dumb too. After you get the Tyger code you should've been able to glide down from there to anywhere within the city. It kind of defeats the purpose of even having the tower there to jump off, and the fact that you have to exploit the invisible wall to even get the achievement is stupid.

@Jort007 It just makes it easier. I've tried, it's hard to stay high enough without the wall. You have to dive bomb and then you risk hitting the fall point.

If you circle around the tower you'll hit the lowest altitude possible and cancel out of the glide before a minute is up. It's possible maybe to counter this by alternating between diving and gliding, which is what I did to get both glide distance challenges at the same time, but either way you do it it's silly.
