You can't argue with the truth, It's hard to believe there are still a few people out there trying to pretend Scientology is a religion. At least Australia is finally waking up to the cult, hopefully the United States will be next.

OK, I get it. Scientologists are con men. But Christian priests and pastors are not. What they offer is real. All you have to do is say, " Jesus is lord" and you will live forever and ever. LOL!
What are you on about? this is not about religions nor isthis about Christianity, it is about the cult of Scientology and how it runs just like a con game.

Thanks. Understanding cons and subcultures that use them has always been an interest, and the more one looks at the structure of the cult, the more one sees that it is set up just like a con, and uses the same sort of methds. People fall for the scam of scientology, just as they fall for the Nigerian Prince email scam and often for the same underlying motivations. The more people know, though, the fewer that will fall for this harmful garbage that is the cult.
Excellent video and so very spot on- the analogy between the ever more expensive OT levels in the cult and the hype of a fairground barker is brilliant. I can see Hubbard shouting roll up roll up come a become superhuman only $333,000!
I also think that the auditing process becomes a very strong addiction, too. Those culties will tell any lie or commit crime to get their next cult fix.
Funny you mention that. I am doing some research into the stimulative/addictive nature of the low level electrical impules from the eMeter and that being audited, or more exactly, the charge from it is craved by the cultist. It is, of course, just another method of control.
I just testified to OT8 after watching this video, I have learned all there is to learn in Scientology. Does this mean I owe the creator of this video 300,000 dollars?
Damn, it's always nice to see Grandma dancing for the boys back in the 50s. She still puts on a mean show for the boys at the retirement home these days. Oh Gran....... you slut.
Dammit. I was paying attention to the message until 0:20, then I got distracted. That black and white woman got moves! Now I gotta watch it again though...
I wonder how long this type of scam has existed? The central theme must be as old as time itself. Come on, come here! Get the golden egg. Just a few more steps and a few more shekels!
Anyway, good video, good audio. It makes your point very well.
Continue your good works in taking down the cult of the Scientology Corporations.
Excellent video Whanonstler! I think this also ties in well with Arnie Lerma's analogy linking the jewelry Scientologists wear to display their Clear/OT status (usually bracelets, that you can only buy from the Corporation of Scientology catalog) with the shadier carnival game operators giving the more gullible marks a particular prize to "mark" them for the others.
A basic principle of this kind of con is to charge just a little to start and keep increasing the fees indefinitely.
For example the Nigerian bank scam works the same way. A big carrot is dangled and to get it you have to pay a small fee. But there's always something to gum up the deal, so that the victim keeps having to pay larger and larger fees.
