bu kapao moo!! you have to have the kaidow ( fried egg to those who don't know haha) thrown on top and mix it all in!! sooo good! oh i miss thailand! i prefer kai though but pork is still pretty good
great vid, brings back memories. I worked in Thailand for 4 years & ate from the street vendors nearly everyday. My wifes Thai & cooks the best Pad Kapow Gai ever. Next time you have it, a runny fried egg on top is great
@Burningferrow yer, it's hard in australia aswell because they make food to how aussies preffer it :( but once i tasted it over there, no chance turning back haha
but with a nice fried egg (Ki dow) on top, its a real crowd pleas-er..very tasty very nice one of my favourite Thai dishes I have also had it with prawn (Goon)
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
There are several types of Thai basil... This one, krapao, isn't the same as "Horapa" (sweet Thai basil), which has pruple stems and flowers, and larger green leaves, it's used in curries and the stirfried egglplant dish... Krapao is not as aromatic, but when cooked it lends spiciness to the dish :)
some dishes of this popular menu will make you feel too spicy. when you order it in Thailand you should tell them not so spicy please (incase of you cant eat much spicy food). if not you'll get our original taste one!
pad ka pow moo kai dow...means stirfryed pork basil leaf onions and peppers chilli fih sauce,on a bed of rice with a fryed egg on top..cheapest and best meal in thailand..in have it forbreki and tea..costs 40 pence

it's so hard to find a thai restaurant that serves this. they serve a similar dish, but it's not ground meat =(

Great video. I love the sound of the motorbikes in the background along with the cooking. Reminds me of the times I visited Thailand.

Haha In the beginning, she talked about how you want to take her dish's photograph. She seems proud.

I am not from Thailand but I missed Hong Kong street food a lot. It is a bit dirty nevertheless. I think it is ok as long as it is not too dirty.
