@Mikito456 Lets face it, Akira wanted everybody to think about Gohan basically, to make the series turn about him, but Mirei Trunks had completely upstaged everyone in popularity. As such, to impress Gohan on us, he made Kid Trunks an annoying whiny bitch. However, that failed, now nobody liked Gohan or Trunks, as such Akira was forced to return attention to Goku above all else, efficiently killing the idea of the children inheriting the title of Protector of Earth.

Besides if they made Gohan as bad ass as his future counterpart it would've have been kool, but the Buu saga made a whiny kid Trunks, a whiny kid Goten, and a bitch ass Gohan. I mean Ultimate Gohan is supposedly the strongest unfused character in the universe but still doesn't do crap

@MetroidJunkie2007 They didn't for either "Only a Chilling Elegy" or "Saiyan Blood." I think Sean Schemmel only got to do Goku's song "Dragon Soul" for two reasons: one, it's used as the theme, so I guess they figured it would be better if it got put into an english version since it would be taking the forefront (I dunno). Second: he's already proven to be a good rock singer (which is part of the reason why he could pull off those great Goku yells and screams).
