I try to fuse all genres not just drum n bass, dubstep or hiphop, but a manage of all breakbeat genres, old soul, funk etc. there is blantently a market for just drum n bass, which is why when a dnb drops something out of genre people getting fucking hysterical. and im gonna be honest here, no other genre does that happen. The blending of genres to create new sounds is nothing new, just because a tune has some typical elements of a different genre doesn't necessarily limit it to that. There's other things like for example structure and tempo that give far clearer clues. Btw, if you don't like this 4/4 base, there's breakbeat versions of this tune as well (dnb and dubstep)...
