turkey would be better out off the EU. along with the financial problems, EU should find solutions to her member states. Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Spain and Italy(on the road) are facing with the deep economic crises. But Turkey has impressive economic growth. Some EU member states need rescue packages and creditors( mostly Germany) should not spend their money for enlargement. My last words for debtor EU states: Long live Germany or we will sink.

i am Turkish from Bulgaria and I am strongly against admitting Turkey into the European Union , because, a number of reasons, first, purely geographical Turkey not in Europe, has an outlet to Europe that covers a small link between Asia and Europe, second Turks as culture and thinking are not European people. The name of the union is a European, not Asian - European.and last but I think the most important, Turkey's accession means that Europe will be flooded with the Turks
