  • A Million Miles To Mark A

  • WEEN WEEN WEEN

  • My ultimate Ween song/video...

  • The song is one of my favorite from them. I'm not a big animation fan but this video is intense! Great job to whoever drew it. Amazing!

  • @GuyWithBeardedLizard thanks :)

  • I discovered Ween a month ago. What the fuck have I been doing the last 20 years?

  • This song really makes me want to do LSD again. I can imagine how mind blowing this song would be.

  • Adam Phillips is without a doubt one of the most talented men on the planet. Him and Ween are an unbeatable combination.

  • Ween are such a weird interesting and amazing band. They are truly musically talented and creative and choose to continuously change genres and styles- like every song! This song actually sounds like a great tune by Stone Temple Pilots. Not a specific tune, I just mean the general style. It's a fantastic song.

  • Foo fighters - hero.. Stole alot of sound from this song, so obvious.

  • @K4inan

Well I guess you need to be schooled K4inan!

First of all I am a huge fan of both bands outstanding bands that they are! Anyhow My hero by the Foo Fighters was released on The Colour and the Shape album in 1998, and Weens' Transdermal Celebration was released on there Quebec album in 2003!!!

SO is it possible or is it obvious you do not know shit about music? Obviouslly?

  • @cloverhoseman325 I don't know fatty, I just thought this was older. I know shit about music, but this sort of music isn't really my taste anyway.

  • @cloverhoseman325 ha your a dumbass....

  • Without Ween our world would be a remarkably darker place to live in. Their inspiration reaches the far corners of the universe and will continue to do so as long as light still streaks vision across our lands and into our minds.

  • i really like the live in chicago version of this song, i think it's even better than this version, even. great song either way, though.

  • greatest band ever

  • love ween

  • Fuck yea! Fear the Boognish!!!

  • WEEN = Fuckin awesome band!

  • @Nugui91 me too man

  • What a group. Brave. I wonder if people will start to figure out who they are...one of the better musical acts of the last 20 years...

  • WHAT 30 DISLIKES? You suck shit

  • @noho40 This video might have disturbed them.

  • cant wait to see them later today.

  • @maxwellpemberton It's a parody of all the songs you like.

  • Step 1. pause video

    Step 2. play video

    Step 3. press 7 Wait...A few. Press 8...Then press 9

    Step 4 . You're Welcome

  • I'm growing with the land.... time has taken my hand...will you let me touch them?

  • I disapprove the opinion that the boognish are evil... a hint towards this would be the fact that they are dancing for the baby to keep it happy and laughing.

No, the video (which, in this case, manages to capture the meaning of the lyrics) is a celebration of the cycle of life, from my point of view.

  • @Cronopul I think you're right. They don't represent evil. They represent nature. The forces guiding both death and rebirth. It's a little boognish that is borne at the end of the video. They are a metaphorical equivalent of nature. Both death and life. The process that keeps continuing on, and changing. Transdermal Celebration. How life evolves.

  • what kind of monster dislikes this?

  • Quebec is easily one of the best albums of the past decade.

  • whats the song/video about?

  • @Slushyyy639 watch the fucking video before you comment about it.

  • @uglydollsinc123 if you think the video always portrays the meaning of the song your an idiot so just chill out big guy

  • :D

  • my kid & i used to cover this song & other ween numbuhs in the basement. me on guitar, him on drums. now he's 17, in his own band, and he dosen't even talk to me, anymore. hmmm.

  • @1skullduggery did something wrong?

  • @1skullduggery feelsbadman.jpg

  • @1skullduggery Could be worse. My ex told me I had to choose between her and frank zappa. I chose zappa.

  • @MrShayneOneill she's probably moving to montana soon.

  • @MrShayneOneill hahahahah yeah!!!

  • @1skullduggery what a fucking dick.

  • @megadeth2thenwo you said it haha

  • Ween.

  • this is the only ween song i like

  • Ween has been consistently putting out solid albums since early 90's. They are my fav alt band of all time. They can play any instrument and nail live covers from Led Zepp to Prince. I have seen them 3x and they have the best live show of any of the 100+ bands I have seen live. I even got to hang out with them after a show at Clutch Cargo's on the White Pepper Tour.

  • @chrishuhnke Why do you have to tease me like that! I've never seen Ween live, but for the first time in my life, I think I might actually have a chance. I'm trying to win a trip to see them at Lollapalooza this summer - please thumb up my video (video with the most thumbs up wins)! Seriously, you can't bring up how awesome they are live and then not help me - that'd be messed up!

    /watch?v=-13jZyJerF8

  • Pure nature has been reborn. This is a story of happiness, not sadness.

  • WEEN. IS. THE. SHIT.

    PERIOD!!

  • I remember seeing this when I was little, maybe 8, 9? I felt so sad watching this video on TV. I cried lol

    I almost cried watching it now and I'm 17 : (

  • yeah this makes me wanr cry so bad...I think o mi Pooh and wonder how he is =) =( +0 =( =) I've heard the song but he video really makes it.

  • ANY CHICKS WHO LIKE WEEN CAN BE MY FRIEND ON FACEBOOK-STEFAN FALQUET

  • @KILONLINTU

    FOOL!

  • Love the song, hate the clip. Seriously, it's possibly the most horrible thing I've ever seen, and I want to torture every single one of those things for what they did to that poor little baby. :(

  • @xXRubella666Xx

I actually thought the concept of civilization being "cleaned" was pretty cool. Beautiful, actually.

  • @NickNorie15 A lot of people do. I've never seen the appeal. I think the idea of a beautiful planet is lovely, but the idea of such a planet existing with nothing alive to appreciate it except for nasty little white things is awful.

Also, I'd rather all the humans died than become trees. I think I'd sooner kill myself than live through such a change, knowing I'd eventually lose the ability to think and move and feel.

  • @xXRubella666Xx

Nah... Maybe trees don't wear pants, don't drive/drink or fall in love... But they often seem far more civilized than us.

I like to think of the little white things as being Nature's helpers. Correcting a big mistake, maybe?

  • @xXRubella666Xx whattt?! Lol I love it! it's kinda of sad at first, but then the tree grows that that part of that baby hops away with one of thos Baby boognish. Very epic video =]

  • @xXRubella666Xx. you don't get it. Would it be better to just leave the baby to starve all alone? because you can't eat pinecones.

  • @markowitzevan I would have preferred none of it happening in the first place.

  • Adam Phillips is a genius animator, and with good music taste too!

  • WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE CREATURES?!?! But the song is good

  • @walcois aliens?

  • @walcois it's the boognish!

  • @walcois they're BOOGNISHES! duh

  • This is creepy as hell :)

  • this reminds me of "The Plant People" by Dale Bick Carlson

  • So a line that speaks of waves touches on a tsunami that happened eight years later? How exactly? It's not like Tsunamis have only started happening since.

  • My name says it all!! This video is FULL of Boognishes!

  • He kinda sings like he as a lump in his throat. Is there a name for that style of singing?

  • @AdrianThePedestrian No, that is just one of the many characters in Gener's arsenal.

  • long live ween

  • This is sad but a good song

  • long live the boognish

  • I'm in love with Ween forever. My true loves.

  • this song kinda has a foo fighters sound to it. i think its his voice or something. ween is awesome!

  • One of the truly great and unique bands of my generation.

  • Shit, I haven't seen this since I was eight...

  • If you made this shit, fucking awesome job. Otherwise, thank you for postin this shiiiiit.

  • heard them play this live in columbus last summer burned a massive king size doober i had when this song came on. now that was good times

  • Godhead. Absolutely.

  • I'm sorry I don't see any similarity between them and the Beatles... if you want to compare them to a classic rock band, then I'd say they bare a closest resemblance to Pink Floyd.

  • @NCStateOnTheRise

Eh, it depends on the song. They never stick to a specific genre, and that's what I love about them.

  • earthquake, tsunami..hmmm

  • =[

  • IF YOU LOVE WEEN GO TO"STEFAN FALQUET" @ F BOOK AND BE MY FRIEND!

  • why is this the only copy of this song I can get on You Tube....someone post this with better quality.please...I have to listen to all the subtle parts of the music that's what makes Ween so fantastic and timeless.

  • @heinyrage1 Shall do :)

  • Ween is a ROCK band, the Beatles are pop. A damned good pop band, below average rock band.

  • I used to "like" Ween, but after this song, I fell in love with them

  • @Nugui91 i feel in love with them from 1993,,, push the little daises made me like them ,,but after hearing "The Pod " on a high day with great headphones,,, it changed my life !!!!!!! god bless ween!!! ween bless god!!!!!

  • @TReBoryitNE god ween bless bless ween god

  • @daelohmen TY TY !!!!

  • @Nugui91 good, but how did you not fall in love with them before this?????

  • @Nugui91 ween is the shit !

  • @Nugui91 same here bro

  • @Nugui91 same here bro

  • @Nugui91 same here bro

  • @niccudrat

    same here bro

  • A tree huggers wet dream.

  • I love ween like no other band. They are fucking awesome. They have so many songs and album's that don't sound alike

  • This song is so beautiful...I almost shed a tear watching it...

I decided to look Ween up today after only knowing "Push th' little daisies" for a long while, and this is the first song I've looked up by them; mind = blown.

  • It's funny that this song, released in 2003, touches on the tsunamis that followed afterwards and especially recently. Watch :52 through 1:14. "Tectonic tribulation, formed a crust of green beyond the reef. Waves fell in formation, caused the plants to bend with spi-ked leaves."

  • <3

  • Great Video!

  • i shed a tear every time i listen to this...brings me well missed memories of the past....effing awesome song...

  • This video rocks and I absolutely love this song, it is so beautiful!

  • I saw a Boognish!

  • I prefer buildings and people to trees and psychotic little monsters’

  • This song is about acid. Period.

  • Just getting to know the band, would anybody help me out? I'm more interested in this kind of pop-rock music than their crazier stuff, are there some albums to be recommended?

  • @JendaHrbac well Ween isn't really a pop-rock band, they're very unusual. i suggest you look up these songs by them:

    ocean man

    the mollusk

don get 2 close (2 my fantasy)

    hippy smell

    birthday boy

    spinal meningitis

  • @JendaHrbac Just get all of there albums and you will love them all eventually.

  • Devin Townsend sent me here.

  • Beautiful.

  • Woah- Japan! Are those little spiky dudes radioactive mutants?

  • tsunami?

  • Adam Philips is an amazing animation artist...

  • The song is obviously about an apocalyptic sort of event or the end of the world.

  • I think this song may be about STDs

  • Could someone please explain to me what a Boognish is in detail? I know it's the Demon God of all things brown but is there more to that?

  • dont touch me...touch my tooter

  • Am I bad for wishing this would actually happen? Despite what Ronald Reagan says, trees are much less destructive than humans.

  • @r3t0dd it's my greatest wish, hermano.

  • i just love this amazing song and beautiful video

  • This song sounds very 90's

  • little bastard things

  • @sg2massive

at least theyre not eating brains or vaporizing people. gotta say that this is one of the better ways for aliens to invade.

  • @dhamilztron yes this is very true lol

  • 0:30 "i'm getting out of here!"

  • 0:25 "what the hell is that thing"?

  • 1:24 "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?"

  • Wild

  • adam phillips ftw!

  • ITS BOOGNISH!!!

  • this is jesse eisenberg's favorite band

  • WEEN fuckin PWNS it!

  • I cnat comment

  • the day after this video was put out it was my birthday ...i was finally born...trust me

  • amazing song, but dead sad video :(

  • for some reason this song makes me sad

  • @lorriekruk I have the same reaction oddly enough. I think for me is due largely to the video, and how I interpret it's meaning.

  • One of the rare Ween tracks to sound better on the CD than in concert along with Tried and True.

  • This reminds me of my 90's childhood for some reason

  • Great song! Check out THE MARK - THE HIGH LIFE

  • transdermal is also close to transdental, so maybe its about the beauties of nature and the life of a creature.

  • 1:54 is my favorite part

  • @omgitsclassical y is that ur favorite part

  • @cxt274 the thing starts dancing funny and the tune get all excited like "wow! the world is ending! yay!" but in a bittersweet, depressing way

  • 2:04-2:07 is so heartbreaking. ... I'm not sure if the kids smile at 2:08 makes it better or worse :(

  • @telemarr1

Inventive yes. "90's alternative/novelty act" is debatable since this song came out in 2003.

  • Beautiful video for a beautiful song :) really helped me when I was in a dark place

  • Ween makes my weener hard

  • If you cloned pre-Sea Change Beck, and then made both Becks in a band together, the result would sound like Ween.

  • When I get bored with music I can count on Ween :)

  • We're Ween

  • why the fuck you talking about the beatles?? its ween song/video talk about the video/song.

  • im so impressed with ween. im just discovering them. the process of exploring this band is so exciting. when i find a song, like this one, it seems the sounds i hear are just too good to be true; it affords my mind and ears the gift of simple pleasure.

  • love the boognish

  • gotta say, I really wouldn't mind being a tree...

  • @dhamilztron Gotta love the mutants that dwell within the trees with spiked leaves. They shine a beauty unto me

  • ever watched a video like this and just thought about the ridiculously enormous spectrum of things the human mind can come up with? like wow. We can make up imagery like this and we make music and all this crazy stuff.

  • Great Jam...back in 03...Years Fly By! Classic WEEN

  • Just awesome! I love you Ween!!

  • This song has a special place in my heart. It always reminds me of my big brother. R.I.P. Henry <3

  • @PatrickRob82 thats sweet
