If there is a sequel, I hope they continue the trend they started with Jigsaw and LBJ (played brilliantly by Dominic West and Doug Hutchison) - that even though Punisher is a darker Marvel character, that doesn't mean that the more sick-n-twisted villains can't have an element of fun to them (I would love to see them do Barracuda, who as I understand it is one of the more...unhinged of Frank's rogues gallery - I mean, the guy lost his fingers and was fed to a shark, and he was still smiling).

i think it depends if the marvel/punisher fans want a sequel they'd get it. besides, this movie wasn't intentionally made for people in general. it wasnt meant to win those grammys. it was really made for fans of the comics and whoever likes action movies. and i freakin loved it >:)

are you sure they're going to make a sequel? this movie absolutely tanked at the boxoffice. i loved it though, but nowadays they only make sequels for hits. =/

dude its too bad half of the violence in this movie was cut out due to marvel wanting to keep it r rated. and the sad part is that was what punisher was about. violence and violence and revenge. hopefully not too much was cut out to make it another lame punisher movie.

Just blood, no story. And for all those who think that Punisher has no real story hasn't ever read Garth Ennis' run on the comics. This movie won't be getting a sequel, gauranteed.
