Can't say i follow the game of Ice-Hockey apart from the occasional match but they're one of the only 2 sports i know where when in a 1 on 1 fight, the punches are always correct in how they're thrown.

To players have some sort of in ring training?

The guys that are good at fighting are in the NHL, hockey equivalent of the Premiership for one reason, they're there to send a message that if anyone wants to target our skilled players, I'm going to try to knock your fucking head off, bare-knuckled. They don't actually train to fight, but by the time you're in the NHL like Cairns and Belak, you've probably scrapped your way up through the minors (lower divisions) for years, since you were about 15 or 16.
