@savekkk It's more so the wake than the speed. Wakeboarding is safest 20-25mph, if you're good feel free to test 30...but for the best wake (if you have technique) you need an inboard engine with the propeller almost center on the boat. It's best wake displacement. A heavy boat or ballast will help too. You never see professionals use outboard, or inboard/outboard for a reason.

@sad046 Back in the day we used to have one boat creep along at about nine m.p.h. and then an opposing boat would pull their skier at an angle and launch off the wake, the rollers pound the hell out of you though. As far as speed behind the boat it just depends on your weight but you do want decent speed.

when i go to get air off the wake, my board digs in and i just go down. like when i'm going in heelside, should put my weight on the toeside just before I hit so it lifts that edge of the board up?

@yourface9847 no, that will just make you faceplant.... try putting equal amounts of weight on toeside and heelside and put more weight on your back foot than your front so that the front of the board does not catch the lip of the wake

Looks like you need a bigger wake. You look like your 25 feet back is all. Do that on a big wake 80 feet back and you will get way bigger air with those tricks for sure.
