  • I'm thinking like, why don't people get in to those middle lanes that are all empty and easy to acces.. but cool man takes a lot of skill to do that. i'm just thinking how on earth do you do that with double trailers?

  • Thanks for the vid, my cock is getting hard!!!

  • Man I would be getting out of the truck every 5 seconds so that I am not hitting anyone.

  • @xB2KxRewindZ

Yeah, that how I was when I started, and that is what you SHOULD do. If you are not sure whats behind you GOAL!!! Get Out And Look. It only takes a second and can save your ass. But you eventually figure out what your doing. I get out and look all the time when I do a blind side back. Check out my Michigan City video you will see what I mean. That place is a pain in the ass... especially since I don't go there much.

  • If your looking for a truck company you should check out the Gardner Trucking..

  • yeah just wondering if you clutch when you shift or float em

  • @calboy5858

A little of both... usually float, but keep my foot close to the clutch if I miss it.

  • there is a truck with same rtailer like yours

  • @dany69v

yeah, it was a day cab...no sleeper. He was usually parked there every day. He ran a local route for the same company... couple trips a day then home. I wish I could have had his job.. probably would still be at that company.

  • Im watchin all of ur vids... you make it looks so easy backin up. i guess one hav to get use to it.

  • @rotcataergeht

Thanks.. glad you like them... practice makes perfect. I kinda suck at backing now for that very reason. I almost NEVER have to back up anymore... no more docks for me.

  • Sweet driving!!

  • what truck do you drive, btw nice video

  • @TheStupidashole

In this video it's a Volvo VN670, I am driving an International Pro Star now, for a diffferent company.

  • When I was learning, I was most worried about backing than anything. Then I did it firs time. Good jab mate!

  • @pugster6837

Thanks... I dont get to back up much anymore.. pulling a druy tank now.. usually just pull thru, plus the tank is a little easier to back up... little shorter than a 53' box.

  • nice job good driving man

  • you backed like a pro!!!!! good job be safe bro.

  • @mw2MASONPOPE

Thanks.. Not sure I would call myself a pro.. I have seen way better backer upers than me out here. Some people are just really good at it.

    Thanks for watching

  • @kens97sto171 hahaha well my dad driving 24 years otr my 20 yr old bro backs better than him sometimes....just takes practice.....

  • Great video I love these videos :)

  • the guy kens97sto171 still hasn't learn to back up correctly just another goober making vidios about something he don't know about stupid HICK!

  • @bosgo3

You might notice the video was posted A YEAR AGO. And if you look at some of the other comments MOST PEOPLE found it helpfull.

So why dont you go and troll somewhere else.

  • @kens97sto171 I'm willing to bet 100.00 that you don't even drive trk anymore,so crawl back into the hole you just dug and leave the professionals and future prospects alone with your swell headed ego vidios that shows what ignorance you have Stick IT HILLBILLY!

  • @bosgo3

Pay up then, cause I am still trucking. Never stopped. I can give you my PayPal info for you to send the money, Not sure what your problem is.. and not sure what swell headed means..sounds like a hillbilly phrase to me. Also not sure how I am showing my ignorance by anything I have said.. mabye you should be more specific

  • @kens97sto171 If you have the time to make vidios then the carrier you work for does not exist because it's all a dream a real driver in the real world does his job and for you to mention paypal is another stick in the mud excuse for not driving while you might not be ignorant in what your doing show what a white boy does with his TIME!

  • @bosgo3

Or maybe my carrier pays me enough that I don't have to work 24/7 to make a living. I am not really sure how any person would not have the 10 min of free time it took me to make this video. If you are that pressed for free time, you should re-evaluate your life, and your priorities. I mentioned PayPal cause YOU mentioned a BET for MONEY.. and I generally don't take checks from strangers.. As for what a white boy does with his time?? I dont even know what that means.

  • ive always wanted to have a 1st person view backin up i dont have my cdl yet but im gettin all the info i can thanks for the vid

  • @johnnie420420420420

    Your welcome... hope it helped.

  • @kens97sto171 it helped alot keep doin wutcha doin and drive safe

  • Not bad.!

  • Backing into a dock door or parking spot is all in the set up,any good trainer will tell from any school the same thing.

  • @bosgo3

Your right... the setup is everything. sometimes there is no good setup though. If there are plenty of spots I will go around the lot and re set up again. It's easier than trying to fix a bad setup.

  • It's ok for parking but the ancient device (or crutch) on the steering wheel has even been outlawed even on cars so where is the real skill showed even for a hillbilly!

  • @bosgo3

I am guessing your talking about the knob on the wheel? First they are not outlawed, you can buy them in any truckstop. second it greatly helps while backing up, allowing for much easier corrections. Also I have a bad shoulder, the Volvo has a pretty tight wheel at idle the pwr steering pump needs more assist, trying to palm the wheel around while looking backwards over my left side, required enough downward pressure on the wheel it hurt my shoulder joint.

  • @kens97sto171 thats why you can only buy it in a truck stop and no where else,if you would learn to use your mirrors adjusted right straight line backing would be no problem sounds to me you move the steering wheel too much!

  • @bosgo3

My mirrors are adjusted correctly. and I use them. I tried to explain why I use the steering knob.. my shoulder hurts when I have to do large steering movement, into a difficult dock. I don't need it when doing straight backing. But its there so i do. Your right about over steering.. I do tend to do that more than I should... but I did that even without the knob.

  • @kens97sto171 Again! it does matter if your in a trk stop parking lot or customer's dock how you set the truck up for backing 45,90,or straight its the same deal you can't make the steering wheel smaller like a car to compensate wherever you point that tractor that trl will follow KEMOSABE!

  • @bosgo3

Dude.. I think you and I are having a failure to communicate.. and honestly I don't care. I think we are agreeing on some things.. and not on other. You drive your truck the way you want to and I'll drive mine. I have been driving 5 years, and back up better than most I see out there.

    Have a safe day.

  • @kens97sto171 Well it's seems that you have to have a device and not driving skills to back up maybe you should concentrate on what your doing maybe get out and look before ,if you oversteer after driving for 5 yrs you have not learned anything yet unless you have run into something?Go ahead and make another goober vidio but this time choose a dock not a trk parking lot! CONCENTRATION!!!

  • @kens97sto171 Back up better than most? theres alot of professional drivers out there who do not NEED a CRUTCH! next time if you got the nerve ask any driver out there in a trk stop or dock waiting on a door the device you use on a steering wheel and you'll get laughed at! DRIVER SKILLS UPHOLDING!

  • @kens97sto171 over her we have them knobs on the steering wheels even my car got one.. very handy ..like you said easier for backing up with cos i can hang out my window more knowing i have a better grip on my steering wheel.. another god send lol.. great video ken..

  • very nice parking job man! way to show that proffesionalism!

  • Thanks..

  • great parking

  • Thanks... did a decent job. I have seen some amazing drivers out there... though... put it perfectly in the hole 1st try.

My thoughts are as long as I don't hit something.. it was a good parking job.

  • Awesome video man. I go to CDL school in Little Rock (got a job with USA Trucking) next month and am both excited and nervous about it. Backing looks like it can be rough. Especially up to a loading dock and you have to get it centered and all.

  • Yeah.. could have been better. But hey.. as long as you don't hit something.. its all good.

    Thanks for watching.

  • good parking !!!
