Thanks for the great video Tom, one question, is 'Enhanced Geothermal' the same as 'hydro fracking'? Thanks if you can clarify.

@mabethebabe50 To answer your question, yes it is similar but deeper so you don't screw with the water tables.

@MrJivePirate There is some information about environmental impacts but it's very hard to find because there's not a lot of impact. The only one I've heard about so far is seismic.See the establishment don't want to talk about renewable energies because they don't keep the workers(wage slave) working and capitalism would come crashing down!

@boumar19721972 @boumar19721972 For primary information I found a BLM report titled "Newberry Volcano EGS Demonstration Project." For something more readable the best article I found was on ectroprobe titled "Geothermal Fractures Vs. Hydraulic Fracking: What’s The Difference?" The only opinion I found that said it was the same was an engineering student's blog who said "I took a fracing class and have never heard of shearing but I assume it's the same thing."
