  • there is no fare or hate in our "Temple". Come as you are.

  • Thanks for your insight. I now have a better understanding of my good Finnish friends and their off the wall humor

  • Finns draw sublime pretenders down and see them "as such" very concretely and in practical way. This is undouptedly common in all cultures' humour. Looking things sarcastically coud still be speciality of Finnish humour, if there is any special humour or even any humour in Finland.

In best way Finnish humor could be, that things are not made funny, but things thought to be funny are taken seriously and literally.

  • In Finnish humour, if it has own speciality, fine and sublime is seen in prosaic or prophane way. Being noble or civilized is seen just hollow pretending. Other older western cultures are easily seen in this way as pretending and unauthentic.

  • @TheCrosbonez There are 5000 years old remnants of sauna in Finland. Oldest something-that-could-have-been-sauna found from Sweden is a little over 2000 years old. Sauna as a word is prefinnish and means "warmed hole".

Fucking swedes. Only thing they invented is homosexuality.

  • On tuo jenkkilä niin kehittynyt maa mut missä kaupungissa näät sähkötolppia suomessa? Isoja voimalinjoja on ja näitä pikkutolppia ei ole kun maantien varressa jos on nykysin enään sieläkään. Jenkeissä on kaikki asuinalueet täynnä noita piuhoja.

  • @rosteriperse Samaa ihmettelin :D

For the poster of this video: As a Finn I think the best joke was in the end, when you said something like : "That OK, because that's all part of being funny: When you don't get it. See you later". That definitely was Finnish-kind of humor, intentional or not. It almost literally made me LMAO.

  • You mean that its really fun to to put all the weirdest stereotypes on the pedal espeacially the weirdest :D but you gotta understand that its obvious bullshit to the core to get the irony of the

    (somewhat)funny stereotypical actions.

  • We dont have humor in finland and we are dead serious all the time, even when we sleep. And most important thing in here is to work untill u die and never complain about anything and never give up. :D

  • Finns also created mobile phones, and saunas actually aren´t originally Finnish. Get your facts right

  • @TheCrosbonez Oh but they are.

The Swedes claim to have invented them, but at the time FInland was a Swedish territory, so OFCOURSE they would claim credit for our creation.

I won't stoop to calling them thieves, but, the word holds some merit in that instance.

Other countries have their own versions of the same concept, but the SAUNA is OURS

  • @TheCrosbonez No Sauna is Finnish. Coz the other things that are called "Sauna" are not real Saunas

  • 187,888 lakes in finland

  • Sauna.... oot oikean!!

  • What do the Finnish poliisi do when you run red lights there?

  • @Audinos

eat donut and drink coffee. what do you think?

  • @Audinos Kick your ass :D

  • @Audinos They'll do their job, in most cases

  • Finnish humor is Kummeli!

  • It´s great humor that this video is driving and driving and there is no end to the serious discussion, absurd and great humor..Reminds me of the humor in Värmland Sweden, where there also many descending from Savola/Savolax finns from the 16th c..

  • Thank you! I hate having to explain to people how to pronounce "saUna"!

  • wou...mikä liikennejärjestys..ihan toista mitä nykyisessä asuinmaassani..

  • dude finns are dumb and its sauna my school is filled with them my group is filled with germans and not finns. finns are cocky people who are obsessed with hockey

  • @FoofyMcdonald So...you base your opinion of Finns by Finnish American teens/kids living in the US? Thats like saying all Americans are retards after reading your comment. How about think a bit before writing?

  • perrkele, mikä tylsä video :)

  • Im Finnish and our whole family is considered being witches and warlocks, because we came from a island outside Finland. So we took it as a good thing and my grandfathers were "warlocks" in the Winter War and Contiunation, where they just disappeared inside enemy lines.

  • I think Finnish humor is similar to British humor.

  • @Nickname006 Sama, very same.

  • I am from Finland and i think finnish ppl are missunderstod.. a lot ppl say we are depressed and humourless.. but ppl should understand that all country`s have own culture.. if u are from USA dont take this personally but i think why u think that is cuz in USA u have so much entertainment and maybe not all ppl think about thinks they should.. in here we dont drown our selves to entertainment.. we really think how thinks should be done in this country..

  • 187,888 lakes according to wikipedia.

I think finnish humor is unique for its black irony. You think something is funny because it's true. And you can laugh about it because you admit what is true. In Sweden for example you laugh at something that is not quite the truth, you wouldn't dear telling the truth - because it might be offensive.

I honestly - Im a swedish speaking finn - think that finnish people are among the most honest people in the world. Very thinking as well, thus often depressed

  • Brian Jason, i hope you weren't driving while watching the video

  • It's not safe to make videos while driving. Keep it up.
