I was born a right-handed person, but had a freak accident in 1st grade and I could not use my right hand while it healed. In 1st grade you begin to learn how to write, so I just practiced with my left hand, and ever since then I became a left-handed writer, but I play sports like a normal right-handed person.

Did you know that lefthanded tennis players are naturally better than righthanded tennis players? It's not only tennis, but basically it's because it takes the brain a fraction of a second less to process the information needed in order to know where to run and hit the ball (or whatever game it is), because lefthanded people's brains are "opposite" so to speak. Hope it makes sense, I'm not good at explaining technical things in English (it's not my main language).
