All of the media commentators are quick to credit the player who last touched the ball to score. Take away Rapinoe's SUPERB passes/crosses to: Wambach vs Brazil in the quarter final, and to Morgan vs Japan, etc, and you've got a very different outcome to those games and to the USA team's chances. Megan's been in the shadows of the spotlights on Wambach & Solo but she's just as important and as bright a star.

I'm glad somebody fixed her hair. The way she had it versus Brazil was absolutely hot!! I've seen a lot of other pics that make her look pretty average. They joke and kid around like normal people. I'm just saying that NIKE used to make commercials about enjoying soccer and having fun. This commercial is the opposite. It's even more odd since it's promoting women's soccer. I guess they are trying to make people take it more serious. The fun commercials are better advertisement.

yeah and that's your opinion even if you ARE a professional. some people take it serious. and who are you to tell them otherwise and who are you to tell them that the fun commercials are better you don't get to do that. i like these kind of commercials more. i play high school soccer and yes i kid joke and have normal lives but these are the commercials that motivate me if you want some casual commercial ask disney to make one for soccer and fuck you women are good at soccer.

@Mogli2nd2none I never criticized women's soccer. I have worked wit the WPS on several occasions, so if anything, I support it. If she really lived a life like this with that much pressure, she would break down and never make it. It's NIKE falsely representing life. NIKE used to glorify skill and creativity in their old commercials. This is something that is missing in American soccer. This isn't a matter of taking it serious. On the pitch, be professional, but you don't pressure yourself 24/7.
