I love to visit Munich and I have been there every last six years. The atmosphere at Marienplatz and Rindermarkt during the Christkindlmarkt is one of my favourites. I really enjoy having a Reiberdachi with Apfelmoos at the market before going to the Augustinerhalle for a Schweinehaxe mit Sauerkraut and a Mass :-)

man man man ihr habt ihr echt nix besseres zu tun als die gebäude zu bewerten ist doch scheiß egal wie die aussehen, münchen ist einfach die beste stadt die es gibt! hat ihre guten und ihre schlechten gegenden ist aber überall so! München Rules in 6 wochen geht endlich die Wiesn wieder los!
Ich muss nur beim jüdischen Zentrum widersprechen. Der Platz war vorher nichtssagend und sieht nun wirklich sehr interessant aus - die Architektur hat etwas Fernöstliches, was mir gut gefällt! Übrigens haben wir in Deutschland viele schöne Städte, auch wenn der Krieg vieles kaputt gemacht hat.
München ist die geiste Stadt der Welt!..... Ich War lange in Berlin... in Köln.... ich lebte in Budapest.... in Cuxhaven.... ich gab die halbe Welt bereist.... und ich muss sagen, ich scheiß auf die Architekrur.... für mich sind Städte keine geografischen Einheiten sondern geistige Zustände.... für mich zählt wie die Menschen in einer Stadt sind.... und bis jetzt ist München für mich auf den ersten Platz und Berlin auf den letzeten Platz was das betrifft....
Ich weiß gar nicht, wieso sich manche hier so aufplustern. Wenn Sie eine tiefschürfende Bewertung der Münchener Architektur erwarten, sollten Sie sich die Zeit nehmen und Dissertationen zum Thema durchkauen. Für den Publikumsgeschmack ist dieses Video aber ganz wunderbar und ich stimme der Bewertung absolut zu.

Das Video ist wirklich ein bißchen daneben, effekthascherisch und völlig an der Wirklichkeit vorbei, einfach nur mal so drauflos und deshalb auch ohne jeden Witz. Ironie und Witz funktionieren nur, wenn es eine Verbindung zur Realität gibt. Außerdem, wieso kommst du plötzlich mit der "Deutschen"-Keule? Du angelsächsischer Möchte-gern-Komiker.
Also: Der Teil "Auszeichnungen" ist völlig irreführend. Die Architektur der Staatskanzlei und des Jakobsplatzes kann man mit guten Gründen genau andersherum werten (außerdem wird der Platz gar nicht ganz gezeigt). Den Justizpalast bitte von vorne (vom Karlsplatz aus) zeigen. Und daß der Hauptbahnhof ein DDR-Gebäude sein soll ist auch völliger Quatsch. Also bitte nochmal machen und zwar besser, bzw. diesen Teil aus dem Video schneiden!
Ahm, Verzeihung, der Hbf sieht NICHT wie ein DDR-Bau aus. Ein DDR-Bau ist, nehme ich an, ein Bau, der in der DDR gebaut wurde. Also wie kann es in München einen DDR-Bau geben?
Also, wenn ich sage, das Gebäude sieht aus wie ein DDR-Bau, dann meine ich, dass das Gebäude wie ein DDR-Bau aussieht, NICHT dass es tatsächlich ein DDR-Bau ist. Genauso wie wenn ich sage, die eine Wolke da sieht wie ein Hase aus -- ich erwarte ja auch nicht, dass die Wolke davon hoppelt.
Der Seufzer kommt ganz von meiner Seite und zwar über deine inkompetente und oberflächliche Rechthaberei. Wenn du Vergleiche anstellst, brauchst du Referenzobjekte. Sag mir den (wirklichen) DDR-Bau, der dem Münchner Hauptbahnhof nach architektonischen Kriterien ähnlich ist.
Du verstehst wirklich nicht, was Sarkasmus ist, oder? Ich stand dem Bahnhof gegenüber und fühlte mich in das Ostberlin der frühen 90er versetzt, ist alles. Nimm einfach eine representative Auswahl an DDR-Plattenbauten: gesichtslos, Glas und Beton, rechteckig. Warum willst du es so genau wissen?
1. Also gut, damit du was lernst. Dir hat der Hbf. nicht gefallen und du hast der Einfachheit halber oberflächlich „DDR-Bau gesagt. (Ich weiß nicht, was du mit deinem „Sarkasmus willst. Sarkasmus ist beißender, verhöhnender Spott, und Spott muss, wenn er funktionieren soll, mindestens eine Winzigkeit Relevanz haben, also es muss irgendetwas dran sein. Mir hat dein Video nicht gefallen, weil der „Auszeichnungen-Teil durch seine dramatische Form mit den wertenden Zwischenüberschriften suggeriert, du würdest eine halbwegs ernsthafte Architektur- bzw. Städtebaukritik starten, was du aber in keinster Weise einlöst. Deshalb ist der Teil „Auszeichnungen in deinem Video lächerlich und dumm. (Du kannst z.B. nicht ein Gebäude durch eine schmale Seitenstraße fotografieren und dann sagen es sei „verbaut.
3. Das könnte man so fast mit jeder Sehenswürdigkeit auf der Welt machen, wäre aber eben nur an den Haaren herbeigezogen und Sarkasmus, der an den Haaren herbeigezogen ist, funktioniert nicht). Der Jakobsplatz mit dem Jüdischen Zentrum hat dir nicht gefallen, die Staatskanzlei jedoch nennst du ein „gelungenes Beispiel für die Verbindung von historischer und moderner Architektur.
4. Ich bin halt anderer Ansicht: Die Staatskanzlei sieht aus meiner Sicht Scheiße aus, weil sie architektonisch die Distanz zwischen Volk und Volksvertreter noch vergrößert anstatt sie zu verringern und so die Arroganz der Macht selbstherrlich zur Schau stellt. Der Jakobsplatz hingegen ist mittlerweile als Gesamtensemble zu einer friedlichen Insel der Ruhe geworden, mitten in der Hektik der Stadt,

1. Der Vergleich ist durchaus berechtigt. Ich war 10 Jahre in Berlin kurz nach dem Mauerfall, glab mir einfach.

I find it really annoying that almost 60 years after WW2 whenever some one says something about Germany, posts a video (like this), etc. some one always has to bring up the Holocaust as if that's the only thing that that Germans have ever done. Ich muss nur beim jüdischen Zentrum widersprechen. Der Platz war vorher nichtssagend und sieht nun wirklich sehr interessant aus - die Architektur hat etwas Fernöstliches, was mir gut gefällt! Übrigens haben wir in Deutschland viele schöne Städte, auch wenn der Krieg vieles kaputt gemacht hat.

Ich War lange in Berlin... in Köln.... ich lebte in Budapest.... in Cuxhaven.... ich gab die halbe Welt bereist.... und ich muss sagen, ich scheiß auf die Architekrur.... für mich sind Städte keine geografischen Einheiten sondern geistige Zustände.... für mich zählt wie die Menschen in einer Stadt sind.... und bis jetzt ist München für mich auf den ersten Platz und Berlin auf den letzeten Platz was das betrifft....

Ich weiß gar nicht, wieso sich manche hier so aufplustern. Wenn Sie eine tiefschürfende Bewertung der Münchener Architektur erwarten, sollten Sie sich die Zeit nehmen und Dissertationen zum Thema durchkauen. Für den Publikumsgeschmack ist dieses Video aber ganz wunderbar und ich stimme der Bewertung absolut zu.

Also: Der Teil "Auszeichnungen" ist völlig irreführend. Die Architektur der Staatskanzlei und des Jakobsplatzes kann man mit guten Gründen genau andersherum werten (außerdem wird der Platz gar nicht ganz gezeigt). Den Justizpalast bitte von vorne (vom Karlsplatz aus) zeigen. Und daß der Hauptbahnhof ein DDR-Gebäude sein soll ist auch völliger Quatsch. Also bitte nochmal machen und zwar besser, bzw. diesen Teil aus dem Video schneiden!

1. Der Vergleich ist durchaus berechtigt. Ich war 10 Jahre in Berlin kurz nach dem Mauerfall, glab mir einfach.
2. Muss ich dir auch noch erklären, was Ironie ist?

Glücklicherweise wird der Hauptbahnhof durch ein neues modernes Gebäude erstetzt, welches aber gleichzeitig gut ins Stadtbild passt. :D
leider wird der neue Hauptbahnhof (wenn überhaupt) erst 2018 zur Winter-Olympiade (falls müchen ausgewählt wird.) fertig sein.
Der Beton-Klotz im Vordergrund ist Karstadt, und Karstadt ist pleite, das Gebäude wird abgerissen :D

I find it really annoying that almost 60 years after WW2 whenever some one says something about Germany, posts a video (like this), etc. some one always has to bring up the Holocaust as if that's the only thing that that Germans have ever done. Yet no one ever complains about the American camps for the Japanese. So stop bitching about the past and look at everything good Germany is doing now. And yes... München is a wonderful city.

But your history is totally off beam, not to mention your understanding of the diaspora, the spread and nature of the Yiddish and German languages, the whole history of Central Europe... and what does Chairman Mao have to do with any of this? Most 'American jews' came from Germany, many fled from Germany just before Hitler got power.

I meant that if China and Soviet 'unintentionally' killed people through starvation, without being punished for that, why did Germany have to get punished for something similar? The US/UK let many prisoners starve also, without getting any punishment (or being portrayed as 'bad', as the Germans)..

The 1880s is NOT "just before Hitler got power". Do you understand? If you look at the history of Jewish emigration to the US, the bulk of it happened before anyone even know who Hitler was. They weren't even from Germany, they were from Russia and Poland. About 2 million in all, compared with only about 100,000 refugees from Nazi Germany and only 30,000 reached the US during the actual Holocaust. Some were even turned away. Those are undisputed figures, they are documented facts.

And nobody's denying that other nations have committed atrocities. Stalinist Russia and Mao's China are pretty much universally condemned for what they did. Britain's conduct during the war, especially the bombing of Hamburg and Dresden, is heavily criticised. The US's involvement in Iraq and its maltreatment of prisoners (Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay)... so what, none of this proves your original point that the Holocaust never happened.

Ich bin für die Meinungsfreiheit. Die Redefreiheit aber genießt man nur, wenn man verantwortlich damit umgeht.
YouTube überträgt mir das Recht zu bestimmen, welche Kommentare auf meinem Kanal stehen bleiben dürfen, und welche nicht. Dadurch wird deine Meinungsfreiheit nicht beeinträchtigt, denn es gibt genügend andere Plattforme, wo du deine Meinungen äußern darfst.

Sehr gelungenes schönes video, auch wenn man mit ein bischen mehr Zeit vermutlich um einiges mehr rausholen hätte können, einige sehr schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten haben gefehlt, aber man kann ja nicht alles haben ;) also 5*
Btw. den Justizpalas kann man auch aus anderen positionen sehen, wo er durchaus gut zur geltung kommt... ;)

Gut, dass du von oben gefilmt hast. Unten hätten sie dir wahrscheinlich deine Brieftasche geklaut. Sonst ist München relativ sicher, aber genau das Glockenspiel ist so manchem Japaner zum Verhängnis geworden.
München ist sehr schön. Auch wenn ich nur eine Zugereiste bin, darf ich doch stolz drauf sein, oder? ;-) Schöne Stadt, aber fahren tun die Münchner wie die Bekloppten.

Also jetzt wo du es sagst seh sogar ich, die aus dem Osten kommt, dass der Hauptbahnhof eher der DDR-Architektur zuzuschreiben ist. Dabei stand ich schon mal davor. Wieder was gelernt.
