I noticed that in preferences, the only choices for framerate is 25 or 30. Is it okay to put it at 25 if my framerate is 23.976, or will that drift over the course of a long (1 hour+) movie?

You will probably see some drift. Best to try to re-export as 25 or 30 FPS.
