They did at the end of the video. It isn't for personal camouflage. They made it for use in cars and airplanes so you can "see" through walls to eliminate blind spots.

Naked eye can't see this "transparency" effect. So practical applications at the end of the video is a complete bullshit.

In fact, one will have to have the camera, the car covered with a special material, the projector and a display to do the job that can be done with a camera and display alone.

No wonder these guys trying to sell this "technology" for seven years already.

I can't see how the current incarnation has any practical use, oooh a recusive fabric which displays a projected image, hmmm. AND?! they will need to do some amazing refinement in the are of projection to have any practical purpose other than a neat little trick.

Без дополнительной заранее сохранённой проекции фона (как было на выставке) либо реконструкции видео под позицию наблюдателя эффект не работает. Не очень впечатлило.

Был на этой выставке. Видел своими глазами. Ничего удивительного. На практике применить очень проблематично, особенно, как было указано в одном из коментов, в маскировке пехоты. Точка наблюдателя подразумевается фиксированой ( иначе эффект пропадает ).
