Im new to Jason Becker... like... "I just found out about Jason Becker ten minutes ago" new. I have been playing guitar for about a year and a half. I play pretty much obsessively. I do have a question. How long did it take you to get good at sweeping? I can speed puick and do hammer-ons and am okay at tap.. but I cant sweep. Any tips?

@Lsuchowski Well sweeping is different for every guitarist, for example i picked it up in a month it took my friend about 8 months. Just work on it, eventually the penny will drop for you and you'll be like wtf this is so easy why couldn't i do it before, but you did say you've been playing for a year and a half so i would also work on other things such as alternate picking and theory, oh dont start playing stuff fast start off slow and play it perfectly 10 times so it get implanted in your bain

It's not much of a lack of speed, more like a lack of timing in some parts but I agree its pretty freakin good for a Jason Becker. His tone is pretty awesome for this song too haha
